" I asked WHERE WERE YOU" he screamed making me flinch. Calm down Mila...breath..
" I..I told yo.. you I was out.."i stammered.
" and may I know with whom?" he asked tightening his grip on my jaw.
" a..a friend" I whispered, tears started to roll do...
"Let me help you with that" said Adam taking off the oxygen cylinder from my back.
I and Adam decided to go for scuba-diving today. It was magical. It was the first time I experienced something so beautiful. The weightlessness and serenity under the water made me feel more alive and human. The view down there was breathtaking. Watching it online and experiencing it in real is totally different and ultimate.
We floated above the reefs, glided through the wreck and hovered midwater like a genie. After staying there for a while we swim back to the surface.
"Thankyou" I said. "So how was it?" He asked
"Amazing" I smiled.
" Told you. Did you changed your mind then?" he asked with hope in his eyes.
" As much as I loved this but I am still not going with you for shark diving. Its sounds dangerous" I said.
He told that he is been doing this since he was fifteen but I am still not ready to go swim with those deadly creatures.
"Okay fine. But you are atleast coming with me there. Stay on the boat, I'll be quick" he said and I agreed.
"Only if we get to feed stingrays." " Ofcourse." Adam said.
After shark diving by the time we return to the port it was almost twilight. We decided to go devour from some local street food this time.
The next day Adam planned a hiking trip for us. We spent three days in the mountains relishing the fun of camping.
We had so much fun these past days, Adam also gifted me the black pearl necklace which was very pretty. We went to shopping, buying different kind of gifts for everyone and today was our last day in Tahiti and tomorrow we will head back to New York. ------------------------------
"I love this picture of yours" I said after showing him the picure which was taken by our instant camera. It was of him beside his surfboard in his beach shorts. "Me or my body" he grinned. " Oh please! You were the one who was gawking me shamelessly the whole time" I said. I wore blue swimsuit with pineapples on it to the beach and the whole time Adam was staring at me, making me nervous each time.

" What can I say, I am a man" such a typical reason.
"But my favourite is this one" he said showing me the picture.
When I looked at it I was amused. It was me with a puppy licking my icecream. He kept trailing behind Adam and me the whole way we were walking down the street. When I bend to pat him he tried to eat my icecream so I offered him some more. I have no idea when he took this picture.
" Awww....wasn't he a cute little munchkin." I said.
" I enjoyed these two weeks with you, thankyou" I said.
" Me too" Adam said.
We collected all the pictures packing them in our suitcase. Our return flight was at 10 in the morning so everything was packed and ready to go.
" By the way, how about one last trip to the beach. Lets take a walk and grab your favourite icecream on the way" He asked.
" But its already 11:00 pm and we have a plane to catch in the morning."I frowned.
"Don't worry, It won't take long." He said.
" Okay, let me grab my cardigan then."
" Great!" He said.
We exited the hotel and started walking but Adam held my hand halting me. I raised my eyebrow in confusion.
" We are not walking today?" He said.
"Then?" I asked.
At that moment hotel valet appeared handing the keys to adam.
" We are riding bike?" I asked and he noded giving me my helmet.
"If I am too speedy let me know" he said while buckling his helmet.
"I ride all the time with my brothers. I think I can handle some speed"
" we will see, hold tight." he said and started the engine of the bike.

" we reached" he said. I didn't leave my hands around him, still clutching him tightly.
"Mila?"
" uhm? Yeah." I said and slowly got down.
It was no less than a death encounter I guess. He is on the top of my rash driver's list.
" Are you okay? I told you to speak if I am too fast for you." He asked.
" Let me guess, you're favorite movie is death race?"
"Actually I don't watch movies much" he said scrathing back of his head.
" Are you serious? " I asked and he just shrugged.
After taking a long walk on the beach talking about some random things we went to ice-cream parlour. The moment we were about to enter I heard barking from across the road.
" Adam look, its the same puppy" I said. The puppy barked more getting all jumpy and excited seeing us .
I was about to cross the road, same moment the small puppy came running to me but neither of us saw the car heading.
"Watch out"said adam pulling me back to him. He then held my face between his hands searching for any scratches or injury on my body.
" I'm okay, don't worry" I assure him and he kissed my head. I turn back to see if the puppy is fine but the sight in front of me made me freeze.
That puppy was laying on the road covered in blood. I rushed to him and tried to pick him up slowly not hurting him more in the process. He was whimpering and I held him close to my chest.
" Stay with me, its going to be alright. I am sorry, please don't die. You are going to be fine" I said crying more. My vision blurred.
" Mila, lets take him to the vet fast" Adam said and I nodded rushing towards his bike.

Its been two hours since we rushed him in here. We were sitting in the waiting area while doctors treat our puppy. The whole moment I was crying continously. It was all my fault. Please god, don't let him die. Adam held me close to him. I rested my head on his chest. The painful eyes of that little puppy kept flashing in front of my eyes.
" Shhhhh....its going to be okay. Don't worry" said Adam.
" He is so small, so tiny. He can't even expess his pain. Why him?" I sobbed.
" it'll be fine" Adam consoled.
After sime more gruesome minutes doctors came to us.
" Doctor how is he?" I ran to the doctor.
" He was very badly hit, fracturing his spine and his front left leg. He lost too much of blood. I am sorry miss but we couldn't save him" he said.
I suddenly felt lightheaded and week in my knees. "Mila....." I heard Adam calling me but I felt too exhausted to reply. Before I hit the ground someone caught me, my eye lids got heavy and then they closed.
