11.6.20 Be prepared for cRiNgE-

This is after World Tour. And as much as I hate it, pretend Poppy didn't kiss Branch after the high five. SJSJSJDJSN.

"Hi Branch!" The pink optimistic queen called to her new boyfriend. Branch turned around to meet the magenta eyes of the most beautiful girl in the world.

"Hi Poppy," Branch said with a smile. "I was just thinking about you." He was. He was thinking about his first kiss.

He loved Poppy with all his heart, and he thought about a way he could catch her by surprise with a little peck on the cheek. He was glad that she was finally his, and they were both really special to each other.

"What are you doing here?" Branch asked. Poppy smirked. "I wanted to show you something. Follow me!" Branch raised an eyebrow playfully. He followed anyway.

For a little while, Poppy led Branch towards the woods. After a few more minutes, Poppy stopped in front of some vines. "Ready?" She asked. Branch nodded. Poppy moved the vines out of the way, revealing a beautiful area with a field of flowers and a waterfall, kind of like the one where they used to hide their string.

Branch's jaw slightly dropped at the pretty sight. Poppy, who had just recently discovered it, asked, "Isn't it beautiful?" She still couldn't take her eyes off of it. Branch replied, "Not as beautiful as you." He smiled. Poppy blushed.

The two sat down and chatted for a bit, occasionally flirting with each other. ;) Branch saw this as a perfect opportunity to kiss her.

He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, moving her closer to him. He leaned over, and then-

"Queen Poppy!" Biggie burst in. Startled, Poppy jumped up. Oh, come on! Branch thought. Poppy didn't even know she was in for a kiss. She asked, "What is it Biggie?" The big blue troll replied, "There's another hair ball." Poppy rolled her eyes. "How excited are these trolls to go down a waterslide?" Turning to Branch, she said, "Sorry, Branchifer, got to go."

"That's ok," Branch said. Poppy hugged him and left with Biggie. Branch sighed.

Later that week, Poppy was once again interrupted from her time with Branch, this time needing to help Satin and Chenille with the newest fashion designs. Before she left though, Branch grabbed her hand, and quickly gave her a kiss on the cheek. As soon as he did he walked away, leaving Poppy frozen with her cheeks tinted darker pink.

Since Branch gave Poppy their first kiss, almost every day, Branch managed to catch Poppy off guard with a kiss, then walk away, because he knew it leave her even more surprised.

Then, one day, this happened:

Poppy was heading over to her dad's pod to check in on him. Branch, of course, wanted to give his queen a kiss, so when she started to walk away, he leaned in. Poppy, though, saw this one coming. As Branch leaned closer, she smirked. Right when his lips were an inch away from her cheek, she turned her head to face him.

Before he realized what's going on, Branch's lips had made contact with Poppy's. He stepped back, surprised, and Poppy giggled. "Caught you off guard now?" Branch smiled at her. "Even if you did,  gonna do this." He pulled Poppy closer to him and gave her one more kiss. It was short but sweet.

Poppy blushed again, she could be showered with Branch's kisses all day, but she had her queen duties to do. "See you later," the young queen said. Branch waved at her, not wanting to wait for a goodnight kiss. ❤️
