Snack Pack POV *writes while actually listening and singing to it*

We watch as our beloved friend and princess fades color, slowly turning the color of Branch, grey creeping down her. We are all heartbroken, watching Poppy being so sad.

Unfortunately, she was contagious.

All of troll village, including us, turned grey, having no hope now that our usually optimistic princess was in this state. By now, we all are being what Branch was for twenty years. We all just... Stood there, head down, feeling empty.

After a few minutes, we heard a voice. It was like an angel's, really.

You with the sad eyes.

Who was singing? We looked at each other, trying to figure out who it was.

Don't be discouraged.

At this line, two trolls parted and revealed- Branch? He was trying to cheer her up?

When everyone could clearly see that he was singing, he stepped forward, into the circle we had uNiNtEnTiOnAlLy MaDe where Poppy was.

She glanced up at him, the looked back down somberly. We all kind of watched them occasionally, especially Guy Diamond out of all of us, to get a glimpse of what was going on.

We hear Branch sing:

Oh I realize
it's hard to take courage
In a world full of people,
You can lose sight of it all,
The darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small.

We heard a hug time bracelet ding! assumed it was Poppy's. We glanced up, and Branch had his arms extended. Awwe! He was trying to give Poppy a hug!!!! >.<

But..... She rejected it?! Poppy, why?! You two are kinda cute together though...

We still had our heads hung low. Then our hug time bracelets chime in time to the melody to the song he was singing. It seemed to encourage him to keep going.

Show me a smile then
Don't be unhappy, can't rem......

We listened to his singing, and by now, all of us were looking at the two, and all probably surprised that he was actually singing. We always thought he was that tough, paranoid troll who didn't like singing dancing, or hugging.

Then, before our eyes, we saw Poppy miraculously get her colors returned as Branch sang:

And I see your true colors shining through,
I see your true colors, and that's why I love you...

All of us were shocked. Love was a strong word. Hmm.... Whoa, clam down, Guy Diamond. I think he meant it as a friend's love. I think we're all sure they're going to be best friends after this, though. Then suddenly, Poppy was singing too.

So don't be afraid
To let them show
Your true colors
Are beautiful...

Wait a second- Branch is blue! Poppy returned his colors! This is too beautiful for us to contain. We still had to watch silently, of course, as so not to ruin the moment.

Our eyes followed them as they danced in this cauldron, finding happiness in a tough situation. Before we knew it, our eyes were taken off them and onto us as our colors started to return as well!

Near the end, Cooper decided to grab his harmonica and play a tune to match the song. The song ended, and we all hugged, way past hug time. This really does show that happiness is inside all of us, and sometimes we just need someone to help you find it.

I hope you guys enjoyed! I wanted to write the True Colors scene from snack pack POV for a while, and I'm surprised I publish two oneshots in one day.
