Chapter 2

Emily's mom came back when me and Em were doing our hair. Em decided to keep her down but curl it and she is going to wear Miss Me skinny jeans and a super cute green see-through tank top and a black spaghetti strap tank top. I, on the other hand would be wearing my super cute Amethyst jeans with my small black V-neck T with a black spaghetti strap tank top with my hair up in a curly pony tail.

"GIRLS I'M BACK!!!!!" Em's mom yells up the stairs.

"OK!! WE'LL BE DOWN IN A MINUTE!!!!!" Em yells back, "Ok we'll do our make-up after we eat. And don't forget to brush, floss, and rinse before we leave. Ok?"

"Sir, yes sir!" I reply in an army tone trying my hardest to keep a straight face.

"Haha, very funny private." Em says keep the laughter at bay.

"Oh, come on! That was funny! How could you not laugh!" I say with mock outrage.

"Ya, keep telling yourself that." she says with a super straight face.

"Ok I know you well enough to know that thats not true but how can you keep yourself from not laughing!" I say confused. It's never easy for me to not laugh.

"I don't know. I guess I'm just special like that." she says with an evil grin.

"Oookkk.... very creepy. Don't do that again." I say laughing as we head down the stairs.

After we eat, Emily and I head up to do our make-up. She wears emerald green eyeshadow with butterfly mascara and green eyeliner. I go for black eyeshadow with black eyliner and butterfly mascara as well.

"We're going to be the most beautiful girls at that party!!" I exclaim.

"Maybe... maybe not. Let's hope!" Em says. She sounds really nervous and that scares me cause she's usually the brave one and I'm the nervous on. Now the roles are switched!!

"Hey, calm down. Let's just go to that party and have fun. If we do that, then we have no reason to worry about anything.Ok?"

"Ok." she says with a smile.

"Now lets get going. John and Chris should be here soon. In fact, I think that's them right now." I say just as the doorbell rings.

"Come on, let's go have fun!"

"Ok"

When we pull up to the house of the person holding the party and the first thing we notice is the noise. The second thing is how many people are there and what they're wearing. OMG!!! The girls are wearing such short skirts and shorts and here I am wearing pants. Well I guess I'm really conservative. Hope that these girls don't affect the way John looks at me.

"Woah! Those girls are setting a really bad image for themselves." Emily says with disbelief in her voice.

"Ya, your telling me!" I say, wishing I could just disappear.

"Well, at least we're wearing something nice." Em tells me trying to boost my confidence, even though its not working.

Then, we see a group of girls wearing pants like us. Hallelujah, we're not alone!!!!! Then our doors are opened.

"Come on ladies. Time to go have fun!" John says from my side of the car, holding out his hand to help me out of the car.

"Ok." I reply hesitantly.

"Don't worry. To me you will always be the prettiest girl here. No matter how short the other girls shirts are." he tells me smiling.

"Thanks. Just having you here makes this better." I say more confidently.
