Chapter 12

Well it wasn't that bad to listen. His story went like this:

Apparently Hades thought that he couldn't handle all the territory in the underworld so he split it up into 100 regions and appointed kings to run them and he became the emperor.

Well Kyle was a prince in one of the top regions and his family is really close to my family down there. He said that he came up here to train to be the king. They never thought that he would get to that but over the past 30 years his relatives kept overthrowing each other. It ended with his dad when he was 10 which was 10 years ago (up here, every year is 2 down there, so technically he's 15 years older than me.)

That's where it comes to where he comes to a beginning of the year party where he meets me and my friends and boyfriend and his friends. Apparently when he saw me he knew that I was Hades granddaughter ( apparently I look like him.)

"Now that we're up to date," he says while walking toward me.

"Nuh uh! Don't even try it! You already know I have a boyfriend," I say, gently pushing him away.

"Oh ya. That reminds me. I have something I have to show you," he says solemnly with what sounds like a hint of joy, "Hop on my back. Well get there faster that way."

"Ummm..... Ok?" I say as I jump up.

Next thing I know, everything is passing in a blur. Then he's setting me down.

"Oh, ya, I forgot to tell you that I have more abilities than you have but you will get them later," he says while I'm still whirling, trying not to fall down.

"Oh great! Just another thing to worry about!" I say outraged. "Where are we anyways?"

That's when I actually look around and see that were at Chris's house.

"Why are we here?" I ask very confused.

"Because there is something that you need to see," he says not looking at me.

"Ok but please don't tell me how we're going in to see," I say scared.

"Ok but only because you asked nicely," he says jokingly.

It was actually cool seeing what he did to get in. Technically he didn't break and enter. All he did was stare at the knob and it unlocked. So he went inside and we crept up the stairs. The first thing I heard was moans and banging sounds. Ewwwww!

That's when I realized Kyle was leading me straight to the door where the noise was coming from.

"Oh no I'm not going in there," I say as I turn around.

"Oh yes you are 'cause you have to see who is in there," he says grabbing my arm and dragging me to the room.

"Let go! It's not right to interrupt that kind of thing! And it's gross!!!" I say trying to keep my voice down.

"Well you have no choice," he says in a voice of iron to match his grip on my arm.

That's when he opens the door.

The first thing I see is blonde hair.... LONG blonde hair. Then I see that there's a person with milk chocolate brown hair on top of her.

Oh god. No. No! NO!!!

I want to turn and run. Act like I didn't see that. But my body's numb and I can't do anything.

Then Kyle leads me out of the house. The whole way to Em's I don't see anything not even blurs. And half way there I burst into tears.
