Katie's POV
Tom started to lean in and I just couldn't help myself, I leant in and out lips met, sending butterflies racing round my stomach, this was amazing. Then Tom pulled away, I went to talk but he placed his finger on my lips, he laid me down next to him on his bed and started talking
'I don't know if this is the right thing to do, but erm will you go out with me?' He said with a little smile, I sat up and simply said 'of corse' he sat up gave me a quick peak on the cheek and a massive hug. We then decided to watch the rest of mean girls. Just as it finished, we heard the front door slam and someone shout tom, I guessed his mum ad brothers were home, oh god I was going to have to meet them! I heard someone coming up the stairs and tom told me not to worry he would tell whoever it was we were just friends. I was so worried!
A boy walked into toms room who I assumed was his brother.
'Tom, mum wants you to..oh erm sorry wasn't interrupting anything was I?' Ben said we were still cuddled up on toms bed so I think he just assumed but tom simply said 'no your weren't, tell mum ill be down in a minute' Ben then left the room, I turned to tom and said that I was nervous and he told me not to worry they would be nice he then gave me a massive hug and we began walking down stairs. (A/n, I don't know if this made sense sorry if It didn't :L)
Toms POV
I asked, her I finally asked her! As soon as I said it I wanted to slap myself round the face, but she said yes I honestly couldn't be happier right now! We were cuddled up on my bed watching mean girls when Ben walked in and said mum needed me down stairs, I could tell Katie was nervous to meet my mum but we made our way downstairs.
'Tom, I need you to help me cook dinner' mum shouted as we were walking down the stairs.
'Okay but first I want you all to meet Katie' us smiled
'Oh god sorry, hello Katie I didn't realise tom had you here, I'm Debbie' mum smiled
Katie giggled and said 'oh don't worry, hello Debbie!'
Just then will and Ben walked in.
'Ohh who you got here then Thomas' Will said while nudging tom.
'This is Katie' I replied.
'Oh the one that made our fish and chips cold? The one you haven't stopped talking about since the Olympics, yeah her?' He said while laughing
Oh he was embarrassing, why would he say that now Katie's going to think I'm creepy.
'Will! Shut up!'
Katie started to laugh 'so Tommys been talking about me has he? All good I hope'
Aw she was so cute.
'Anyway I'm going to walk Katie home now, ill help make dinner after' I smiled
'Okay bye Katie it was lovely to meet you' mum said giving her a small hug.
'Bye Debbie, bye Will and Ben' Katie said shyly.
We then left and started walking to hers as she doesn't live far. When we had turned the corner so mum could see us, I took her hand and carried on walking in silence. When we got to her house I really didn't want to leave her but she had to go so I said goodbye gave her a hug and a kiss and she went inside, then I slowly walked back to mine, today had been good.
I decided to make a quick tweet
'@TomDaley1994: Today has been amazing'
Within seconds fans were retweeting, favouriting and replying most of them wanted to find out what I'd been doing, but I decided not to tell them yet.
Katie's POV
Well so much had happened in the space of an hour, I'd been asked out by Tom Daley and then met his family. Today had been such a good day.
I was looking down my timeline on twitter when I saw that tom had tweeted about him having a good day, I decided to retweet and favourite it. And then tweeted
@Kaatie_: such a good day with @TomDaley1994' which he then retweeted which wasn't such a good idea, as soon as he retweeted it I got hundreds of followers and god knows how many mention, I swear my phone didn't stop vibrating for like 30 minutes, most of the mentions were people asking me how I knew tom and why we had spent the day together. I decided it would be easier to just make a quick tweet as said
@kaatie_: me and tom are just friends that spent the day together, don't get to worried!'
This also got loads of mentions, I didn't bother reading any of them except from one which caught my eye
'@TomDaleyIsMine: @Kaatie_ you better not be distracting him from training'
Great I was already getting hate..
