Katie’s pov
I decided to laugh it off and not think about the hate but decided to log off twitter as I couldn’t be bothered with all of the mentions. All of a sudden my phone started vibrating it was tom calling me, I ran to my room to answer it.
‘Hello ‘
‘heeeey Gorgeous’
We were just talking about random stuff when Tom said he really didn’t want to keep out relationship a secret because he wouldn’t want to keep this a secret from his fans, I knew he loved his fans and I understood that he wanted to tell them but I didn’t want the hate, I received hate from him retweeting me, what was I going to get If we announced we were boyfriend and girlfriend? I decided not to let this worry me and agree to him telling his fans, he decided on tweeting about me a few more times and then announcing it. I pretended I was ok with It all but deep down I wasn’t just yet. I think he sensed something was wrong as he kept asking if I was ok, of course I kept denying the fact that I wasn’t, soon enough tom had to go to training so I said good bye and put the phone down.
I decided I needed to tell my mum and dad as chances are me and tom would be the headlines tomorrow or whenever he told his fans so it was right that the found out from me not the news paper, I began to walk downstairs to find my mum and dad sitting in the kitchen, Ellie was upstairs which I was happy about, because I didn’t want her to know yet because she liked him as well. I walked into the kitchen to greet my mum and dad...
‘Hey...mum, dad. I need to tell you something’ I said nervously I didn’t know what their reaction was going to be.
‘oh god you’re not pregnant are you?’ my dad asked seriously
‘NOO!! Just be quite and let me explain’
I explained from the very beginning and explained how he was looking in my direction and missed the dive to the time he showed me round Plymouth, they seemed to be fine with it so far, I then carried on and told them how I went to his house and he asked me out.
They actually looked really happy for me, probably because it was tom Daley but I was still happy that they were happy for me.
‘Katie’s got a boyfriend Katie’s got a boyfriend’ my dad chanted causing Ellie to run down the stairs and ask who It was but I told my mum too keep quite as I had an idea that Ellie would love.
I quickly text tom saying ‘Heey, my sister loves you; she is such a massive fan so please could I ring you and you can speak to her? :’) x x x x x’
He replied straightaway saying ‘heheh awh that’s cute :’) yeah of course. Xxxxx’
So rang him.
‘Hey Ellie, I got someone who wants to talk to you’ I shouted up the stairs she came running down asking if it was my boyfriend so I agreed and passed her the phone.
Ellies pov:
So Katie’s boyfriend wanted to speak to me on the phone? Why me he’d never met me before...weird.
‘Hello’ I said nervously.
‘Hey Ellie’
I recognised his voice, but who was it?
‘who’s his then? I asked then it hit me, I was on the phone to Tom Daley.
‘WAIT, OMG AM I ON THE PHONE TO TOM DALEY?’I said excitedly
‘you are indeed’ he laughed
‘OMGOMGOMG MY SISTER GOES OUT WITH TOM DALEY’
He started to laugh; I tried to keep my cool.
‘so tom, you should come round sometime, I would love to meet you.’
‘I will arrange something with Katie, I’m not too busy with diving at the minutes so ill speak to her’
‘Okay thanks, bye tom I LOVE YOU!!!’ I screamed
‘Love you too ellie’ he laughed
I then handed the phone back to Katie, I honestly couldn’t believe what had just happened I had just spoke to tom Daley on the phone, my sister goes out with tom Daley, Tom Daley had just said he loved I’m going to meet Tom Daley omg.
I literally ran round the house for so long, I was so happy!!
quick update, but i have to do a bit of homework so i can write anymore but will write chapter 9 after, Hope you enjoy it even though its terrible and tom isnt in it much x
