Katies pov:
I've spent my first night here in Plymouth, I suppose it's not been as bad as I thought it would be, I mean I met Tom Daley AGAIN. The only thing I'm really worried about now is school, I'm just so scared I no one with like me, and ill have no friends, because I'm not very good at making friends I always make things awkward and then no one wants to be friends with me, I was getting myself so worked up but then my phone vibrated and I lost my trail of thought, I didn't mind as it was Tom ringing.
'MORNINGG!' Tom basically screamed down the phone, why was he so happy it was too early to be the energetic.
'Moring Thomas' I laughed
'So, I haven't got training today, so if you’re not busy I was wondering whether you wanted me to show you round Plymouth? But that's only if you want' he said incredibly fast, it was like he was nervous about asking me.
'Awh yeah that would be lovely' I replied.
'Okay ill pick you up in half an hour' he said happily
'Okay, bye!'
I only had half an hour to get ready, how was I going to get ready in that amount of time, this was going to be hard. So I went and had a quick shower and went and choose what to wear, because it was sunny in Plymouth today I decided to wear some high wasted shorts, a vest top, my blue converse and a thin cardigan. I decided to leave my hair to dry naturally, because I had long hair it normally dried in cute little curls, which I quite liked, then I applied a little make up, not much just some mascara and a bit of foundation as I didn’t want to look fake. By this time I had about 5 minutes left before tom came so I decided to go and have some toast.
The toast popped so I buttered it quickly and started eating it rather quickly, attractive, I know! When Tom knocked at the door, I went and answered it and said hey not realising I had a mouth full of toast, awkward. Tom just laughed, I invited him in so I could finish my toast before we went, luckily my parents and Ellie had gone out, but I didn’t want to go so they wouldn’t know tom was here, but I thought I would text them and tell them I was going out.
Anyway now we were both ready to leave, I had no idea where we were going but I followed anyway, Tom explained how he was going to show me around the whole of Plymouth, including the life centre, so I could see where he trained! He was then talking about taking me out for lunch, I honestly don’t know why he was doing all this for me but I guess it was kinda cute.
Tom’s pov:
I was so happy right now, I couldn’t be happier I was spending the day with the girl I loved, and taking her out for lunch, today was going to be good I could tell.
Was it too early to ask her to be my girlfriend? I was thinking about asking her over lunch but I think it might to early, and she might decline me I hate being rejected, it just makes me upset maybe I should just leave it.
After about 2 hour I had shown her round most of the good parts of Plymouth, I was really enjoying myself and I think she was too. I had also shown her the life centre, she asked me to take her swimming one day, and of course I didn’t refuse.
*2 Hours later*
We had just finished lunch at nandos because we both loved it there, when we walked out we realised it was raining, poor Katie only had shorts and a little vest top so I gave her my coat so she didn’t get cold
Katie’s pov
Aww it was raining when we came out of nandos so tom gave me his coat to wear, he was such a gentleman. Anyway I invited tm back to mine because my parents were out and we were cold. So we got back to mine and decided to go up to my room, which really wasn’t a good idea as I have a poster of tom by my bed, I completely forgot, this was awkward.
Tom’s pov:
Katie had invited me back to her house and we went up to her room to see she has a massive poster of me by her bed, I honestly tried not to laugh, but I couldn’t do it, I just burst out laughing, and said ‘oh you’re a fan are you?’ and gave her a slight wink, and she playfully hit my arm. I found it quite funny but she went a tomato colour, which made me feel quite bad, so I apologised and gave her a quick hug. Things are going quite well between us at the moment although this is only out 3rd meeting, I tried to change the subject away from the poster as she went really quiet and embarrassed she looked so cute when she was embarrassed. I thought I’d say about going swimming and we arranged to go in a couple of day’s time (Sunday) because I don’t have training on Sunday so it would be easier for both of us. Katie then got a text from her parents saying they were coming home so we both decided I should probably be going home because her parents might not like me being here as they have only been here a day. So we said goodbye and had a quick hug before I left to go back home.
Katie's pov
Mum, dad and ellie were coming home so tom went home. When he had left I went back up to my room and realised that tom had left his coat here, it smelt so good, so I sat hugging it for a bit then decided to text him and tell him in case he wanted it back
‘Hey, you left your coat here, I’ll bring it on Sunday x x x’
I got a reply like 2 minutes later aying ‘oh dontworry, I have more hehe xxx’
*Sunday*
Today we were going swimming not going to lie I was quite exited; I get to see Katie in a bikini. I got up and got ready not really bothering to do anything with my hair because it was going to get wet anyway. I was going to pick her up as she hadn’t passed her driving test and then going straight to the life centre. We both went our seperate ways to get changed and met by the pool, I looked around to see her walking towards me in her red bikini, how did she manage to look so good even with her hair up and no makeup on I don’t know.
‘I like the view I have right now’ I winked
She giggled and replied ‘well my view isn’t too bad either’
We spent the next few hours just splashing around and having fun really it was so fun. Then it was time to leave and we both went home
*couple of weeks later*
Over the past two weeks me and Katie have spent so much time together it’s been amazing.
Tonight my mum and brothers had gone out so I invited her round for pizza and a movie night, which should be good.
*knock knock* I went and greeted her with a hug she came inside and went upstairs I ordered the pizza and followed, I said she could pick a film, she choose mean girls, oh fun.
My room was dark expect from a little light in the corner so we could see what we were eating, I wasn’t really focused on the film I couldn’t really look away from her, I think she realised I was looking at her because she turnt to face me, we looked at each other for a bit until I found myself leaning in..
