Chapter 1

"Here we have our famous psychiatrist,Dr. Greg Sirvantes." The host of a certain famous show happily introduced the special guest infont of the crowd."Dr.Greg,may i ask you how did you made this Miracle "C" pill that most of you and officially you had tested too?"

"Well,i...wouldnt actually think that it would made it this far and now first i wanted to thank you all for supporting me and believing in me that i can make this wonderful change to the world.I made this actually for my son who had autism.Ive tried all therapy for him back in the days but it was no use.We were losing all of our hope for him.Me and my wife loved him dearly thats why we still looked for ways to help him overcome this and then finally i managed to create something like..a miracle..with the help and advice of a few professional chemist we were able to create Miracle "C".After he took it in a few days he was able to recognize me and my wife and his friends too.He regained consiousness and intellligence on many things" Dr.Greg wept a tear almost at every word he spit out as he boast his invention.

Hana stared watching at their 24x44 sized LCD TV while she leaned her back and had her legs crossed on the sofa.

"Ah good riddance another useless kid is finally gonna be usefull now goodness gracious while my kids here are pretty useless and all they know was how to be lazy."her mother suddenly added while carrying a large pile of dirty clothes.Hana darted her eyes on her mother."Well maybe you shouldnt have bear me and my other siblings and aborted us in the first place and made a perfect robotic children instead of us." she retorted noncholantly.Her mother dashed onto her and grabbed her by the hair as she banged hana's head onto the wall."Youre very ungrateful do you know that? You should be thankful that i raised-" she got cutted off."Raised from hell?from bruises and all of those shouting and the yelling from you and dad? Cut the bull mom.You never listened to me anyways.All you ever say is that "trust me im always right" but then it was always a mistake for me.I mean look," she pointed at the certificates,awards,and medal that had written her name on it."You see that? And did you see how other people treat their child even when achieving the smallest thing?? Is it normal that you always wanted me to achieve the biggest thing even if i began to bleed out blood? Forget this.I need some fresh air." she yanked her jacket beside the sofa and grabbed her phone then left the house.

Hana's POV
It was always the same.I thought that everything would change if id be honest with how i feel but it ended up getting more worse than before.I hated this.Somewhere im unknown to anyone would make me feel better.I wore my jacket and ran anywhere far from hell.Then i came into a dark alleyway near the loud part of vinl city.Vinl city consists mostly of hooligans,goons and gangsters all over so i never really wanted to go outside not unless its necessarily.I sat down near a garbage can and leaned on it.I took a nap,a peaceful one.With no one to bother me by yelling or anything.

Not long after half a minute she heard someone shouting.She got pissed off and when she got up she saw a dead body on the streets and gunshots were heard from afar.

The dead body had it's own intestines and guts scattered on the road then suddenly it rose back to life and ran over to someone and bit their flesh off.Theyre body was awfully pale and dry,their iris were red and most of all,the growl for hunger.Hana got paralysed at what she saw.

"What the hell...." the creatures saw hana standing beside the garbage can and they instantly ran fastly towards her,hana ran as fast as she can too to escape them.On the way she saw the crowd was on chaos running for their lives and some that were still being eaten alive were begging for help."Sht i gotta outrun them and hide as quickly as possible" she frantically said to herself while still trying to run as fast as she can.

After running fastly for a good 30 fricking minutes she found what she was looking for.The abandoned 5 story apartment that she often lingers on when she wanted isolation.It was an abandoned building yet it was going to be renewed but it was never done actually.She quickly enters it and luckly,no one was inside it.She shutted the door and grabbed anything possible to barricade the main entrance of the apartment.She ran to the rooftop of it and closed the only door to it.She found chains that were laying on the ground and used them to lock the door.Finally she sighs deeply as she slumped herself onto the floor.

"What on earth is happening??!!!" she was still catching her breath as she was very exhausted from running around every corner earlier.

Hana's POV
"What the hell....i thought this thing only happens in a movie or in a game....whats happening ....i better check my phone for the news."

I grabbed my phone and started scrolling all over the net.

"Please help me! Im locked up inside my house!!"

"Run for your lives and hide in safe places!"

"Everyone please be safe"

"The zombie apocalypse is here!"

"God we call upon your name and help us at this time of danger please save us lord!!"

She read different posts from all around the world.But there was one video news that was on live recently and she decided to watch it.

"Todays News.Everybody please remain silent in your houses and stay inside for a few days.The goverment will send rescue teams that will help you.The virus is infectious and if you are bitten by an infected person,youll get the virus too."The reporters invited a professional doctor to come and explain everything in front of the public."I want you all to listen here before i die.The virus came from the medicine called Miracle "C".The letter "C" secretly stands for "Cephalic" often related to the head.This cephalic substance was suppossed to be for the brain to function so specialy powerful unlike any other cephalic substances that it can boosts everyones immunity,abilities both physically and mentally at its max so much that it became too dangerous if taken more dosages than prescribed.It was a late research because Dr.Greg was warning us that he would kill us if we told this to the public.The infected are called HBF or Hyper brain functioning patients.Yes the miracle "C" is actually a good medicine but taken too much of it will make your brain to function too powerful to even control.It contains hyperactive ions and other chemical substances that can make your whole brain active,so as your abilities.You wont feel any pain even if your limbs are broken or got cutted,even if you lost many blood and most of all it doesnt matter if you have a damaged system because the brain will still work by itself due to being hyperactived by the medicine.The brain controls your whole body and due to the too much of it,the patient will experience sudden loss of memory,epilepsy,difficulty in recognizing ones food thats why they became cannibals and they are often schizoid or stuck up.When at the right moment you can take this chance to run for your life.If you get bitten by it youll become one too because when the HBF patients saliva mixes with your DNA youll be infected with it too.The virus triggers something very immoral and demonic.Just as the one who invented it.He had intentionally wronged the dosage from 1 tablet a week to 2 tablets per day in the first place because he was angry on those people who underestimated him and his son thats why he generated genocide.So everyone please be careful.There is no known cure for the infected right now.Everyone shall stay within a few more days,weeks or even months in their houses or hideouts.Have faith in our Go-"

Before he even got to finish,a scream was heard from afar.Dashing off the camera man was the infected hosts and crowd earlier on what hana was watching.Dr.Greg ran towards the newscasters and bit them.

"Lets all pray for a miracle everyone...have faith in our god"
The old doctor said while closing his eyes slowly as a group of HBF patients jumped out to him and bitted him badly.

The video stopped suddenly.Hana felt frightened finally for a long long time she had felt nothing at all.She was happy to have felt what its like to be human again.She was really glad.She shutted her phone off and shoved it back in the pockets on her jacket and lay down on the ground to sleep.

"Finally...a change....a once in a lifetime change and freedom".She happily imagined the things she can do independently.Closing her eyes she dreamt about good dreams only.
