The Connections

(This is another long chapter sowwy!!)

Deku's pov

The encounter I had with Hope got stuck in my mind and actually disrupted everything I've tried to do since then. I couldn't pay attention in class, I couldn't hold a conversation with my friends, I couldn't even eat!

I just don't know what came over me, I just met her! And I've never been that way with a girl before...Normally I'd get too nervous to even speak but when I looked into her eyes it was like I had all the confidence in the world.

I definitely will have to back off...that was dumb of me to do that, I must have just gotten caught in the moment. But...she didn't push me off or even tell me to stop. She just looked at me with those surprisingly bright grey eyes...

I can feel my body getting warmer even though the temperature around me hasn't changed

Even thinking about her has me flustered...how am I going to face her?

She's under investigation! She could be playing me, playing all of us!! But...

Is she really capable of that?

"MOVE IT, LOSER"

I felt my body hit the ground, knocking the air out of my lungs. Lifting my head, I saw Kacchan storming past me. In front of him were the dorm buildings. I shook my head and stood up slowly.

I must have dazed out

I must have also subconsciously walked to the dorm buldings after school. I began to treck my way forward slowly, getting passed by a few of my fellow classmates who were also on their way back to the dorms.

Once I was at the door to the dorms I looked behind me to see nothing but the ground I walked here on

Am I really the last one?

I guess I was walking slower than I thought.

Opening the door directly in front of me, I was hit with the noise of multiple conversations, signalling that there were many people in the common room

I walked in, closing the door behind me. The sound of the door latching behind me attracted the attention of everyone in the room. That's when I got a good view at everyone in the room.

(I know this isn't how the common area is set up but plz just deal with it :3)

Kyoka and Mina where sharing a bean bag positioned at the end of the couch, their legs resting upon each other. Momo sat on the edge of the couch while Mineta stood on the side, his hand trying to touch her thigh while Iida, who stood behind the couch watching the two, would smack it off before he made contact.

Todoroki sat next to the three in the middle of the sofa, Next to him Kirishima and Bakugo were arguing over the end seat.

Parallel from them on the other couch and beanbag sat Toru, Denki, Tsu, and Uraraka.

My eyes settled on the shadowed figure in the middle. Someone was sitting on the rug infront of all of the students, their body was covered by a large blanket which moved slightly. A hand reached from underneath the blanket and pulled up lightly, revealing a strand of familiar long grey hair.

"What's going on?"

I heard her voice speak, she must have been wondering why the room had went dead silent.

Her hand continued pulling the blanket up slowly and it eventually revealed her eyes. They scanned the room until they landed on me. I watched as she bit her lip quickly to prevent any noise from coming out which, was a fail, as a small grunt escaped her lips. Her face quickly gained a link pink color and her eyes slightly widened.
