Hope's pov

I struggled to hold back the array of emotions within me. She held onto me so tight, it was almost like she was asking for help.

"I've missed you number three~" she said into my neck.

My heart dropped at the name.

This wasn't my sister.

I should have realized.

My sister was gone a long time ago. Her soul was broken and now her body was simply an empty vessel filled with bloodlust and insanity.

I could feel tears leave my eyes as I had flashbacks to when things were different, when she wasn't like this.

When she was normal

5 years old

I hid under the office desk. My eyes focused on the bright screen in front of me. I could see the back of people's heads as I tried to focus on the characters on the screen.

"Watcha doing there sister?"

I jumped from the sudden voice and hit my head on the table above me. I hissed in pain before spinning around to meet my smiling sisters face.

I quickly raised my hand and smacked her across the shoulder playfully. She stepped back and held her shoulder while laughing

"I told you not to scare me like that!" I scolded

She ignored me and looked behind me at what I was trying to do.

"Ooh sister is being naughty! You're trying to watch t.v!"

I quickly crossed my arms over my chest

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

I looked around for something to shut her up. My eyes fixated on a blanket nicely folded near by and I concentrated, bringing to blanket to us and covering her.

I saw her covered figure and I giggled. My happiness was cut short when the blanket suddenly dropped due to gravity. The outline of her body was no longer there. She had disappeared

I felt a light poke on my ear which made me flinch

"Bully" she whispered

I quickly turned around and tackled her playfully.

I sat on top of her and we connected hands, fighting for dominance.

"You're the bully, bully" I said giggling.

She stuck her tounge out at me before joining my laughing fit.

"Number three!"

We both stopped and looked towards the voice. It was Shigaraki, he was looking at us with a stern glare but I could tell he was trying not to smile.

He was always like an older brother to us. He was who we looked up too even though he was still a kid himself.

It had mever crossed my mind how much stress a ten year old would have been under in his situation
