I woke up with the sunshine shining on my closed eyelids as my alarm went off. I lazily hit stop on my alarm and sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes. "Honey, breakfast is ready, come down before it gets cold!" my mother called. I quickly got up and changed into the Kunugigaoka Junior High School uniform and ran downstairs. "Did you sleep well, (Y/n?)" mother cheerfully asked. "Not really.." I hadn't gotten that much sleep last night considering I was extremely excited for my first day of school. I ate breakfast and brushed my teeth, soon after, I left the house for school. "Bye mom, love you!" I ran out the door, not waiting for a response. My friend, Rio Nakamura, ran up to me.
"Hey, (Y/n), excited for school?"
"Yeah, actually! Just a little nervous."
"I just hope we have a cool teacher."
Second Person POV
You and Rio ran up the hill, racing each other testing who's the fastest. You got to the top, 3 seconds before Nakamura.
"Hah, I won!"
"Ermmm, my legs hurt a bit today..!"
You both laughed and went inside the 3-E building, sitting down at your desks. While waiting for class to begin, you noticed a blue haired boy walking into the room and he immediately catches your eye.
Nagisa's POV
As I was walking into the room, I spotted a (H/c) haired girl looking in my direction. When we made eye contact, she looked a little flustered and quickly turned away. I felt a confused expression on my face and sat in my seat next to the girl. Suddenly a strange, yellow creature that resembled an octopus walked(?) into the room with a squishy noise below it's.. tentacles!? It was followed by a formal-looking man. He explained who this creature was and what was going to happen here in class 3-E.
Timeskip 2 Weeks
(Y/n)'s POV
One morning Koro-Sensei announced a project that would have groups of 2. He took off his cap and put little slits of paper with each of our names. He pulled two out at a time, pairing students up.
"Terasaka, Hino."
"Sugino, Takebayashi."
"Rio, Okajima."
He continued to call off the names, and as he was near finished, I hear my name.
"(Y/n), Nagisa."
I gasped and looked over to Nagisa, my now partner, and we smiled at each other. I then felt a presence behind me and looked over my shoulder. There I saw Nakamura grinning at me deviously.

"Well, well, well.. It seems little (Y/n) over here got paired with her little 'boyfriend!' What a coincidence!" She said with a teasing tone.
"W-What! He's not my b-boyfriend! Shut up..." I said with a red hot face.
She laughed and sat back in her seat. Nagisa overheard Rio's comment and had blush plastered on his cheeks.
Suddenly Koro-Sensei interrupts with instructions for the project.
"Alright, students! This is a week long project about your partner. You must gather information on your partner then write a paper. I am dismissing class early so you students may work on the project. ( *wink wink* ;) )
Koro-Sensei POV
I watched as Nagisa and (Y/n) left the room, feeling accomplished of what I've done. I left the paper with their names open to partner them up. I ship, Nrufrufrufru!
*Timeskip*
2nd Person POV
You and Nagisa decided to go over to his house and work on the project a bit. It was only you and him there and he led you to his room. "Wow, Nagisa I love your room!" "Really? Thank you!" You both sat on his bed and starting talking. He already knew a lot about you since the day you've met him, but he never talked about himself. "Nagisa.. How come you never tell me anything about yourself?" He went silent, but then he looked you in the eyes and told you about his life at home with his mother. You gasped and threw your hands over your mouth. "What!? How come you never told me? I'm so sorry you've had to go through things like that. You should have told me sooner! I could've helped y-" Suddenly you were cut off with the feeling of his lips on yours.

You closed your eyes and fell into the kiss. You pull away, gasping for air. "N-Nagisa.." "I-I like you, (Y/n). I've liked you for a while..." You were shocked by his sudden confidence but smiled, your heart overjoyed knowing he returns your feelings. You pulled him into a deep hug. "I like you too."
