Amy's pov: I still can't believe that Piper chose FINN over me. I just want us to be best friends again.
Piper texted me asking to meet in the locker room so I'm just waiting for her, she walks in. "Hey Amy!" "Hi Piper, so what's up?" I ask "I wanted to know if you'd be open to hanging out with me and Finn today so that you could get to know him?" She asks "Piper I have zero interest in getting to know Finn, if you want to chose him to be your best friend fine! But that doesn't make him my friend" I snap at her
she looks hurt and shocked by this. "Amy I have two best friends, you and Finn I want you too get along or at the very least tolerate eachother and Finns not the one making this more difficult, you are so please can you just spend an hour with us that's all I'm asking for" she pleads "Maybe another time but you go spend time with him" "But Amy-" I cut her off by leaving the room.
Nobody's pov:
Piper stood in disbelief, was Amy really that upset that she had another best friend? She knew that she wasn't at fault. It's not like Amy thought that she would just stop making friends when she left did she?.
Piper opened her locker and looked for her pointe shoes since she had some time to kill so why not get some extra ballet in. She looked everywhere but it was almost like they disappeared.
"Where are they?!" She shouted in frustration "where's what?" Finn asks walking into the locker room "I can't find my pointe shoes" she says turning to face him "Pipes you put them in my locker, you couldn't get your lock open yesterday and you were going to be late for rehearsals remember?" "Oh ya I forgot" she says sighing. Finn turned the dial on his lock and opens the door. He pulled out Pipers light pink pointe shoes and handed them to her "thanks, I would've spent all day looking for them if it wasn't for you" "no problem, did you ask Amy if she wanted to hangout with us today?" Finn asked the girl standing infront of him "ya I did she's being weird so it's just us today but can we push our plans back about an hour so I can work on some ballet?" She asked "for sure, Ozzy wants me to meet him in studio 1 anyway, see you later Pipes!" He says walking out of the room "Bye Finn!" She shouts so he can hear her.
Piper made her way into studio A and sat on one of the benches that line the walls. She put her shoes on, tied the ribbons and made sure they were on just right. Piper walked over to the other side of the room and picked up the ballet barre and placed it in the middle of the large studio.
She just did some simple steps, all of the pointe classes had been canceled since the teacher was out sick for the week so why not get in your own class.
After a while of doing steps she decided to take a quick break. She approached the cubby's and grabbed the red water bottle with the label that reads "Piper". As she was drinking Finn walked in. "What are you doing?" Piper asked inquisitively "Ozzy left his bag and he's making me get it" he said laughing at how stupid that sounds "that's strange but I wouldn't put it passed Ozzy" Piper said "anyway see you later Pipes good luck with the ballet, Dont break your ankles!" He said while pulling Ozzys bag out of his cubby and running out of the studio.
Piper smiled lightly, Finn made her do that a lot. Feel happy for no reason, make her laugh at the simplest things. She returned the bottle to its spot next to her dance bag and went back to the barre.
Pipers pov:
After about another half hour of dance I decide that's a good amount for the day. I tuck the barre back against the wall and go to my cubby. I grab my bag and water and make my way to the locker room. I twist the dial from number to number until it pops open. I guess I finally figured out my combination again.
I hang up my bag on the small hook and place my water on the shelf. I pull out my phone and dial Finns number.
"Hey Pipes what's up?"
"Nothing really but are you ready to go?"
"Ya I'm just in the next steep with Ozzy and Henry, whenever your ready we can go"
"Oh okay I'm just going to get changed then I'll meet you there!"
"Sounds good see you soon"
I hang up and grab my change of clothes. Once I get changed I grab my wallet out of my locker, since we have to come back for rehearsals tonight I can just leave my dance and school stuff in my locker.
I make my way down to the next steep and find Finn Ozzy and Henry. "Hey Piper" Ozzy says looking up from his phone quickly "hey Ozzy"
"Ready to go Pipes?" Finn asks as he stands up "Yup!". He says goodbye to the boys and we make our way outside, we decided to walk to the boardwalk and get lunch from the food trucks there.
At the board walk
Nobody's pov: Piper and Finn had eaten there lunches and gotten snow cones. They were sitting on a bench. "So what type of conditioning do you think Michelle and Emily are going to make us do today?" Finn asked "my moneys on planks with a dash of sit-ups" Piper said while laughing. "And maybe a hint of push ups" Finn added "ah yes the perfect recipe for annoyed dancers" She said, they both started laughing.
"We should probably start walking back now" Piper said as she checked the time "alright let's go!" Finn said jumping up. Piper stood up and they started the walk back to the studio. "Are you really open to getting to know Amy?" She questioned "in all honesty I'm not her biggest fan but if it makes your life easier I'm all for it"
"Well thank you I appreciate it even though if she keeps doing this you may never actually have to do that".
Finn decided its best not to say anything about Amy as he didn't want to make Piper mad so he just nodded and ate his snow cone.
