Amy's pov: Pipers been acting strange ever since we got to nationals and I swear I saw her and a guy leaving the hotel together yesterday night.
I asked the team to meet me in my room after dinner to see if they noticed anything else about her. They all just got here and I told them that I thought Piper was acting different.
"Ya she canceled on us last night, we were supposed to have a girls night" Lily says "and I swear I saw a blonde guy with her last night" I tell them "wait guys what if Pipers dating someone from a different team" Heath suggests "I don't know Piper isn't really the dating type and besides why would she hide it from us" Henry says
"WAIT!" I shout "I remember last night the guy with her had a red and black jacket on, studio 11's colours are red and black"
"SHE WOULDN'T DARE!" Richelle yells "If Pipers dating a guy on our biggest rivals team what if she's telling him about our dances!" Richelle says "Piper wouldn't do that no matter who she's dating " Kenzie says "are you willing to risk nationals over a hunch?!" Richelle says still red with anger
"I have an idea why don't we follow her to see where she goes tonight and we can make sure she's not talking about our dances" Ozzy says "that's genius!" Henry shouts. We all agree to this, even though I don't feel great about spying on my best friend we need to make sure she's not putting the team in jeopardy. Also I can't have my best friend dating a guy from studio 11!.
Ozzys pov: We are all in Richelle's room since her door faces Pipers, I'm looking out the peep hole when her door opens and she walks out in a black dress. "GUYS!" I shout "look!". Everyone try's to see but Amy is the only one who can "oh my god, she's definitely going on a date if her hairs down" Amy tells us "okay she's probably down the hall by now let's go" Summer says.
We all sneak down to the stairwell and when we get to the lobby we see Piper stepping off the elevator.
Pipers pov: As I walk out of my room I look left and right to make sure no one from the team is out here, good no ones in the hall. I check my phone and see I have a text from Finn.
~hey Pipes I'm in the lobby, come down whenever
~Okay I'm on my way down!

I slip my phone into my bag and carefully walk down the hall and into the elevator. I hate having to lie to the team especially Amy and Lily but they would never forgive me for dating Finn as he's from studio 11. which of course happens to be the next steps biggest rival, He also has to lie to his team for the same reasons I do.
Once I find Finn in the lobby I run up to him "wow you look beautiful" he says as he puts his arm around me "thank you, you don't look to bad yourself" "why thank you, I do try my best".
I give him a quick peck on the cheek and he grabs my hand. "So where are we going tonight?" I ask him excitedly "Pipes I already told you it's a surprise, your just going to have to wait and see" "pleaseeee tell me" I say giving him puppy dog eyes "nope not going to happen" "fine" I huff defeatedly "cheer up Pipes it's our 3 month anniversary I've got a great night planned don't worry" Finn says in his normal cheerful tone.
I hear gasps come from somewhere behind me. I turn but all I see is a blur of people running over to the gym area, oh well it's probably nothing. I turn back to Finn who has a puzzled look on his face "come on Finny let's go!" I tell him matching his tone.
Lily's pov: I'M SORRY WHAT?! Pipers been dating that studio 11 prick for 3 months and didn't tell any of us?! I can't believe it, I'm one of her best friends and she just didn't tell me she had a boyfriend.
