Day Four: Part Two

Jon heard the explosions from the fight. Curious about what's going on. He approaches Garzam. "Hey. I think I'll go help Jack.."

Garzam looks at Jon. "I'll go with you."

Garzam turns to Lucia, who's listening to the surroundings. "Hey. Jon and I will go after Jack.."

Lucia nods in return. "I'll stay here."
Garzam picks his machine gun up and signals Jon. Jon nods, he picks his gigantic sword and the two went to the center of the rainforest.

Meanwhile, at the Zenran Military Airplane, Kaine looks at the unconscious Jack while recalling the revelation he and Jane heard earlier. He saw what Shepard can do and is confused why Shepard has such power to control things without even touching them. Kaine recalls the twist that Jack told him and Jane. His jaw's clenched. His mind is racing while he's sitting beside the unconscious HYPERION.

"You found him?" Kaine to Jane via mic

"No not yet" Jane answers.

"The twist took us by surprise. If Jack's claims ain't true, he's probably dead by now." Kaine said.

"We need to find Randall so keep me posted Jane. We are at the pivotal point of war."

"Will do."

Suddenly one zenran infantry approaches the confused Kaine. "Sir we will take him to custody. The president will meet him there."

Kaine stood up. He grabs his gigantic axe. "Listen. If you're telling me to land and not go with you, I'll blow this plane up. There's something I want to know and It's not your business."

The soldier nods "as you wish sir."

"Understood." Kaine as he sits back and looks at Jack. "I hope you're telling the truth." He murmured.

At Mount Makoto, Shepard was brought to his knees while crying. Hatred, frustration, and dissapointment runs to his mind. "I'm a puppet.." *sniffs*

YOU'RE A MONSTER! A FAILURE!

"STOOOOP."

"Calm down... Calm down..."

WE ARE WRONG!

He repeatedly slaps himself before sitting down at a rock. The mountain overlooks the north part of Zenra and the west of Cornelius. Shepard took a deep breathe, his fists are clenched. He looks at his hands and feet. He removes his armor and looks at HYPERION logo. He looks around the landscapes. "What have I done?"

Red veins crawl around his green iris. Tears are falling and veins are appearing on his temples. He coughs as his thoughts are debating.

"What am I supposed to do? If what Jack said is true.."

Save the planet

".. I-I ugh.. I want to save them. Save everyone."

All intelligent beings can only think of their future. They're hypocrites. They use you for their own good, then they curse you... Fighting for your race, for these intelligent beings is worthless.

As the thought continues to speak in his mind, Shepard's body starts to shiver as his veins glows in yellow. His green iris are starting to have yellow pigmentation.

Nobody loves you but the planet itself.

"No.. What should I.. do?"
"I don't want to kill everyone..." Shepard added.

They will kill the planet by waging war against each other.

sniffs "I'm not.. a monster.. I don't want to be a monster.."
