POW! Sound of a punch as Jon knocked one of the post guards. He pulls the body in to a truck. Minutes later, Jon, disguised as a Zenran Military Post Guard, meets Jane."All set?" Jane asked.
Jon nods. "Let's go get Jack now. Where's Garzam?"
Jane points at the truck. "There, hiding behind the military truck. We're going to use it to go to a HYPERION Air base. I heard President Crisanda ordered the city to be put in lockdown so a stealth jet's a good idea to get in to the city."
"Okay..."
The duo heads towards the truck and finds Garzam at the cargo bed.
"You okay?" Jon said as he sets his weapon to the side.
"uhuh." Garzam replied.
Jane approaches Jon to give him a microphone. "Here, use it. Stay with Garzam while I drive. You hide here."
"Alright, I guess we're not going to have problems when it comes to hiding since it's full of cargo anyways."
Jane nods.
"Okay then hop in Jon. We'll go now." She said as Jon hops in and sits beside Garzam. Jane goes to the driver's seat and proceeds to start the vehicle.
It's 10 in the evening and the trio is at the province of Illy, a countryside of Zenra. They're 6 hours away from the city of Eumo, cold night and quiet.
"We're about to leave. Please, do your best in hiding. The guards at the gates will inspect the cargo."
"Roger that..." Jon replied.
Garzam nods at him. "So what's the plan?"
Jon looks at the crates and then turns to Garzam. "Should we use these boxes as a wall?"
"You mean like put them on top of each other like building blocks?"
"Yeah, I'm sure around this time, they're not very strict. In fact, they're quite drunk most of the time."
"I would like to give them a memo." Garzam replied.
"Let's go" Jon said as he approaches the crates and builds a wall out of it. Garzam helps Jon. He puts his machinegun aside and picks some crates.
"Here's an idea, I'll be at the other side. You stay here. I'm dressed like them so it's not a problem." Jon murmured.
"What about your sword??" Garzam asked.
"Put it beside you." Jon replied and Garzam nods.
Crates by crates, Jon and Garzam created a wall where the Garzam is hidden. Jon sits comfortably and stares at the night sky as the truck moves. He looks at the crates again. "You know what? When I was a kid, my Mother used to buy me Lego set. She said it's a toy made and delivered from Earth. Building a wall out of boxy figures like these crates makes me remember those days."
"I never had a toy other than wooden figures. I don't know Lego but I heard Earth is beautiful."
"I haven't been there. Mom said Dad was born there. He spent his childhood in America briefly before migrating here in Sora."
Garzam nods. "It's beautiful to know you haven't forgotten their stories."
"I mean, I never met my parents. My Brother is the only one I had. King Kramos adopted me when I was still an infant. It was during the last days of the world war."
"So Lucia's a sister to you?"
"Yes... A sister I never expected to have, a great one."
"I never had siblings but I think it's fun to have someone by your side."
