There's this saying about fireworks going off and angels singing in the distance when you kiss someone who you truly love. Alec had no idea if this was actually love - he knew he had fell in love with Magnus, but it was different than what he had had with anyone else. Magnus and him hadn't even had the time to explore what this relationship truly could be, let alone think about words like 'love'. So, there were no fireworks, no angels, no 'this is my soulmate' feelings. But somehow, it was ten times better.

Magnus's hands slid around him and rested on his lower back, while Alec's hands grabbed the front of his shirt, leaning down so he could press his lips onto Magnus'. Alec could feel his body pressing against Magnus's, even more when the shorter man pushed him forward and the hunter could feel the pressure of his hands on his back and it was amazing, to have them there. When Alec started kissing Magnus, he hadn't meant to make it so deep, long or heated. But the minute his touched Magnus's lips, he pried them open and let his tongue touch Magnus's, making the other gasp lightly and pull him closer. His mouth against Magnus's was hot and desperate, like he'd been wandering in the desert for month with no way out and no water to parch this thirst - and now it was like rain coming down in the amazonian forest.

He let his hands go to Magnus's hips and he stepped closer, turning him, pressing his back against the wall with a thud and Magnus made a surprised noise, making Alec pull back. He was in such a daze, he could barely register that Magnus's fingers had somehow found his bare skin under his shirt. He looked down on him through his lashes, realizing he was breathing heavily, chest rising and falling rapidly, just like Magnus's. "Sorry, did I hurt you?" he asked, worried, but Magnus just laughed, eyes twinkling and for the first time, Alec saw his face being carefree. "You're adorable." Magnus just said again, his hand snaking to the back of Alec's head and pulling him down, his lips capturing his once more. Alec could feel Magnus tug at his hair and he stifled a moan, surprised and slightly embarrassed that Magnus could make him feel like this in just seconds.

His legs were between Magnus's, his body pressing Magnus against the wall and he wanted to let his hands roam everywhere, touch everywhere but since they were in the corridor, he settled with letting his hands squeeze his hips, pressing on the skin there and felt Magnus's lips on his move with an urgency that suggested a lot of things, things that Alec would've normally said 'no' to, but right now, he could only feel Magnus, he could smell the sandalwood and burnt incense, sweet like coconut. There was a loud bang somewhere and Isabelle could be heard yelling 'Idiot!' and Alec pulled back, startling. Magnus gave a small chuckle, his fingers still burning on Alec's skin on his lower back. "Sounds like Jace has already managed to do something stupid." Magnus suggested and Alec laughed, his face now covered in a crimson blush.

Magnus tilted his head, his eyes curious on Alec's. He could feel Magnus's fingers making small circles on his back and he resisted the urge to kiss him again. "He's always doing something stupid." Alec replied and he couldn't fight the smile on his face as Magnus looked up at him. Magnus let out a short laugh again, his lips curling and his eyes closing. Alec watched in amazement, so content to hold him in his arms. He hadn't realized he missed him, so much.

"Alexander?" Magnus's voice brought him back to the corridor and Magnus's right hands slipped away from under his shirt and went to cup his cheek. His eyes fluttered close for some reason, Magnus's hand sending warm tingling vibrations through his skin. "Hm?" Alec asked and opened his eyes, seeing Magnus smiled up at him. It was a small and sincere smile, so private, it made Alec blush all over again. "It's good to see you." Magnus said and this time, Alec laughed. "I thought it was evident, from the way you kissed me." he said, amused and Magnus rolled his eyes, but the smirk on his face stayed. "Gotten quite snappy while I've been away. We have to fix that." Magnus said and Alec's eyebrow raised. "Do we know?" he asked and leaned closer, his lips ghosting over Magnus's and Alec could feel him shiver. He smiled triumphantly, but Magnus's hand, the one still under his shirt, slid over his abs and Alec bit his lip, trying to be quiet.
