/So I've started watching an anime called 'Haikyu!!' and my fav ship beside kagehina is kuroken (kuroo x kenma). So I just wanted to trial some one-shots on this book I'd y'all don't mind.. also sorry for being so inactive. There's a lot going on right now but I'll get through it.

Kenma stood in front of the icing covered cake, gazing up at the two families in front of him. Every birthday Kenma or his best friend, Kuroo, had, both families would have a party the night before and wait until 12:00 to sing 'happy birthday' to either boys.

"Everyone, gather 'round!" Kuroo stood proud next to his friend, they would be the same age by tomorrow.
A flash of a camera.

"Dim the lights!"
Holding hands under the table, the parents can't see. We'll be in trouble.
Every member of both families, including animals, no matter what shape or size gathered around the large table. A male voice started counting down for everyone to sing. Soon, many voices chimed together.
"Happy birthday to you,"
"Happy birthday to you,"

"Happy birthday to you."
Kuroo's voice croaked.
Two boys, face to face on a soft blanket. A phone in front of them both.

A small tear of disappointment slowly rolled down Kenma's face, dripping into his trembling hands. He didn't dare to look at his boyfriend, knowing his reaction would make the situation worse.
Soft hands wrapped around Kenma's body.
"Happy seventeenth, Kozume. You made it, Kitten."
The pain shows.
