Henry pov

My wife and kids decided it would be a great idea to go to England, so we all went.

As we were walking towards a restaurant, I saw a family of 5 exit, and I could have sworn The oldest male looked like my old HighSchool friend, William. What looked to be his son was only a little bit shorter than him, but looked almost identical.

"Henry? Are you alright?" My wife asked. I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded. The youngest child tugged on who I assume to be his mother's shirt. The woman picked him up and they continued walking.

'That can't be William. He hates children.' I thought.

I shook my head and we walked to the door of the restaurant.

The one who looked like William turned to look at me and his face became one of recognition.

"Henry?" I heard him whisper.

It can't be

I looked at him for a second before my wife dragged me into the restaurant.

"Who were you looking at?" She laughed.

"I thought I saw a friend from HighSchool." I said

"Why would your HighSchool friend be in England?" She asked.

"He was British." I said.

"Was? Is he German now?" Charlie asked.

"Listen here, you little shit." I smiled at my daughter.

Sammy laughed and sat down at a table.

"Hi, I'm Charlotte and I'll be your server today. What can I get you started with today?" The waitress asked.

"I'll have a coke." My wife said.

"Sprite." Charlie looked at the menu

"Coke." Sammy sighed.

"A coke as well." I smiled.

Charlotte write our order down, smiled and walked away.

We started to read our menus in search of food we liked.

Once we left the restaurant I saw William again. He was with his oldest son.

I shook my head and we walked to our car.

"Hotel?" Jenn asked, starting the car

"Hotel." I smile.

I can talk to William later.

-

It was around 10 pm, 5 hours since I last saw William.

I told my wife I was going out for a walk, when really I just hoped to run into William again.

And I did.

I was walking with my head down and I bumped into a slightly taller man.

"Oh sorry!" I said, standing up and looking at the man

It was William. His son was behind him.

"Henry?" He whispered, much like earlier

"That's, uh, my name." I said.

William hugged me and chuckled softly.

"How long has it been, Will?" I smiled, hugging him back.

"I'd give...28 years at least." He sighed, hugging me closer.

"Dad? Who is that?" His son asked

"Oh! Michael, this is my friend from HighSchool, Henry Emily." William said, pulling his son towards me.

"Henry, this is my son Michael. He's 16. " William explained, caressing my face.

I missed his touch.

"Didn't you say you wish you married Henry instead of-" Michael was cut off by William
slapping his hand over his son's mouth.

"What was that?" I laughed

"Absolutely nothing." William smiled.

William topped his hand away from Michael's mouth, and his hand was bleeding.

"You bit me!" He yelled.

His son laughed punched his father's arm. William rubbed his blood on his son's face.

"Hey, Will?"

"Hey, Henry?" William smiled

"Let's meet again tomorrow. Preferably without your son." I said

William nodded and waved bye to me.

-

The next day William and I were at the park together, it was nice. I was laying in his lap, his hand in my hair.

"Hey, William?"

"What's up, Henry?" He asked

"Did you...actually say that thing about wanting to marry me?" I asked

William pauses and sighed.

"...yeah. " he said softly.

I sat up and looked at him.

"I knew you still loved me."

"Shut up, Henry." He laughed.

I turned to him and pressed our lips together.
I pulled away after a minute and looked at him.

"I love you." I said.

"Don't we both have wives?" He asked

"They can wait. Right now, however, let's pay attention to eachother."
