For some reason tonight the dreams faded away before they could get too bad. I was so happy I closed my eyes as tight as I could and drifted off into a deep sleep.
I woke up to an empty bed so I assumed June had to go to the spot. I FaceTimed Carmia to see if she wanted to do anything today since I didn't have nothing else to do.

"Heyyyy Ma" Carmia said smiling looking into the phone.

"What you doing today" I asked her while I walked to the kitchen

"Girl nothing where you want to go"

"Let's go to Waffle House or something ain't nothing in this damn fridge" I said looking in the empty refrigerator like it just said the stupidest shit ever.

"Girl stop holding yo face like that" Carmia said laughing " Ill be there in 45"

"Ok bet" I said hanging up the phone

Damn I be around June too much I thought

As if he was in my head his message came across my phone

Bestfriend💕☺️ : GM I had to come to da spot

Me: I figured that did you take everything with you

Bestfriend💕☺️: Damn y u tryna put a nigga out

Me: 🙄 I'm just trying to see if U need sum

Bestfriend💕☺️: You aint slick may try to sell a nigga supply but you need me to pick u up later or sum

I liked the message, grabbed a water and headed upstairs to get ready

I went in the bathroom and did my hygiene.

I sang along with Brent Faiyaz while I did my hair. If June was here he would say I'm being soft but can't a girl switch it up he always on my ass.

When I looked in my closet I decided to put on a rugrats shirt, some black shorts, and some dark purple vans. I put on gold jewelry to match and put a gold hoop in my nose instead of a stud

I grabbed my clear purse with the gold chain and headed down stairs.

Right when I was going downstairs I heard the door open. "Hey Pops how was the trip" I asked going to give him a hug. "It was fine" he said hugging me back. "Where you headed off to" he asked me seeing that I was dressed. "I'm going out with Carmia" I said. I started to look down at the floor when I thought about what Nina said the previous day. "What's wrong babygirl" he asked as he saw a change in my mood. "Nothing" I replied doing a fake smile. I didn't want to tell him because I try to keep the peace. *BEEP* *BEEP* Carmia was right on time and I was saved by the bell. "I'll see you later pops" I said hugging him again. "Is it ok if I decide to stay at Carmia's today?" "Thats fine" he said heading up the stairs.

I ran out to the car and got in with Carmia.

Carmia was medium brown and about 5'7. She had big brown eyes and big lips.

"Friend what you been up to" she said with excitement as she put the car in gear. "Girl nothing but be bored as hell" I said while hooking up to her aux. She look at me laughing "Light you better not be playing no soft heartbroken music and shit". I looked at her with a straight face and we both busted out laughing. "You just keep driving" I told her while Not Friendly by Flo Milli blasted through the speakers.
