"Nǎinai, I'm back! " Kun yelled from the front door as he undid the shoelace before got in to the house.

"Gege!! " A little boy ran to him as he engulfed Kun's leg. Kun's smile grew wider as he ruffled the boy's hair.

"Hey bub, what are you doing today? " he knelt to match the boy's height as he rested his hands on the boy's shoulders.

"I washed Nǎinai's bed cover today. Don't worry ge! I already dried it under the sun! " The boy exclaimed in excitement which made Kun grinned widely.

"Good job didi! You did a great job! " Kun patted his head as the boy let out giggles.

"Of course! I am Kun-ge's didi after all. I'm Qian Hao! " Hao said as he held up a peace sign. Kun giggles as he finally stood up from the floor and held his brother's tiny hand.

"HaoHao, where's Nǎinai?" Kun asked his brother using the nickname he often uses to his brother as they walked to the kitchen.

He wore the apron and Hao rushed to his back and helps him tie the apron lace. Kun smiled as he muttered a small thank you to Hao before take out the ingredients from the refrigerator.

"Nǎinai is sleeping. I gave her the medicine you told me to give to her when she's... Aggressive. " he stopped in front of the refrigerator for awhile as he let out a sigh.

"Are you okay, Hao? "

"Y-yeah of course. " Hao said as he changed the topic.

"Kun-ge, when will you bring your friends over again? I miss them. Especially Guanheng-ge. He's funny. " He said with giggles which made Kun let out giggles too.

"I'll bring them over someday. By the way what do you want to eat for tomorrow? " Kun asked as he putted a pan on the gas stove.

"Anything will do gege. I'm not a picky eater." The seven-years-old boy said. He went to his big brother's side and helped washed the ingredients that Kun had chopped.

"I'll buy some peaches tomorrow. " Kun stated as he ruffled Hao's hair which made the boy grinned widely.

"Thank you gege! I love you! "

"Anything for you Hao."

He said what he said. He will do anything for his family; His grandmother and little brother.

"Xiaodan..." a hoarse voice could be heard from the other side of the house. Kun closed the gas stove. Luckily the meals are ready. He washed his hand at the sink in hurry as the voice kept calling.

"Xiaodan..."

Kun got out of the kitchen with Hao following him from behind. He glanced at Hao who looked at him as if he was delivering the message that the grandma is awaken from her deep slumber.

Kun took off the apron as both of them rush to their grandma's room.

"Nǎinai.." he called out as he stepped in to the room followed by Hao.

"Xiaodan... my head hurts." The old lady complained as she pinched the edge of her head. Kun sighed as he took a sit at the corner of her bed while Hao went to the other side of the room which is kitchen and got a glass of water.

"Here Nǎinai, drink this. " Hao handed the glass to her as she gulped down the water as if she just got back from desert.

"Xiaodan... where's Xiao Hao? " The old lady asked right after she finished the water. She put the glass on the night stand beside her bed but unfortunately the glass fell and shattered into pieces and caught the siblings off guard.

"Xiao Hao is here with me Nǎinai. Are you hungry? " Kun asked as the old lady shook her head. The growl from her stomach told the opposite. Hao and Kun chuckled as they found her cute.

"Hao, could you get Nǎinai to the dining room? I'll join you guys later after I cleaned this up. " Hao nodded at his brother as he held his grandma's hand gently and assisted her to the dining room, making sure she walked far away from the shattered glass on the floor.

Kun grabbed the pieces carefully as he throw them into the dustbin and swept away the tiny pieces with the broom. A sudden flashback reminded him.

"Nǎinai!" 4 years old Kun ran to his grandma who was sitting at the veranda.

As he was running, his feet stumbled over a root from the tree resulting him to fell and hitted the flower pot as it shattered.

"Oh my God! XiaoDan, are you okay? " His grandma picked him up as she examined the boy's body.

Kun hissed as he rubbed his elbow before smiled, showing his dimples.

"I'm fine Nǎinai..but sorry, I broke your flower pot. " He pouted. His grandma smiled at his cuteness before gently pinched his cheeks.

"It's okay pumpkin, as long as you don't get hurt then it's fine. "

Kun sighs as he looks at the broken glass in his blood-stained hands.

"Nǎinai, get well soon. I miss you. "
