Katie's P.O.V - 01:36 AM

We watched Phil run out, I closed the door, then we all turned to the screens.
He grabbed my converse and ran out the room. I always tie the laces together, when I'm not wearing them, so I never lose a shoe.
He ran to Erin's door, she ran out, Phil threw my shoes down low, and they both ran downstairs.
One of the guys fell over, making the other two trip over him, whilst Phil and Erin ran into the kitchen, grabbed some knives, and ran off camera, out of sight.

"Fuck." I whispered, watching the trio get up and run downstairs. The one who tripped throwing my shoes aside.
They were searching for Phil and Erin to no avail.

We all let out a breath and sat down, silently preying for this to end.
Joe sat against the door, opposite me, the girls on the bed, with Rick, and Vivian on a box, to my right.

"So, the job's working out, then?" Rick asked me.
I nodded. "Yeah... It's good." I looked at my hands.

It fell quiet, but I could feel eyes on me. Joe's eyes.
My mouth went dry and my hands started shaking. I took a couple of breaths, but somehow made it worse.
Joe shuffled over to me and took my hands, sitting on my left. I couldn't look at him, too afraid I might lose him forever.

"Are you cold?" He whispered.
I shook my head, but he put his arm around me anyway. He pulled me close to him and my heart went crazy.

"The phone's gone! Looks like Phil's setting traps." Vivian pointed out.
I watched as Phil had his back to a wall and peek around it. He then sneaked around the corner, hiding in the kitchen, before running back out of sight, but we could see Erin break nails out of the back door and open it.

She suddenly turned around, and ran out the house. One of the guys came into view, but Phil tackled him and punched him a few times, before following Erin.

The two others ran over, one running out, chasing Phil and Erin, the tallest helping his friend up. He was talking to him, angrily, before they made their way to the stairs, all the way up, and into my room.

"They can't get in, can they?" Jac asked, holding Charlotte.
"I've read about panic rooms. Once it's been closed from the inside, it's controlled from the inside. If they want to get in, we'd have to let them in." I looked at Jac.
She nodded and took a shaky breath.
"I wish I knew what Phil were doin'..." Joe frowned, rubbing my arm.

I studied his face, as he watched the screens. This man was an angel. Perfect in every way. Mesmerising.
I wanted to kiss him so bad, but I couldn't. He wasn't mine.
I've loved him since 1983. I haven't had a serious boyfriend ever, 'cause no guy was good enough, until I met Joe Elliott. A, then, happily married man, having been married for only two months, when I met him.

Joe blinked and turned to me, waking me up. I looked away and slightly pushed myself away from him.
'Wake up, Dumbo!' I cursed at myself.
Joe moved his arm off me, slowly, and frowned.

"I hope Alicia and Sav are OK. We're all in our pyjamas." Charlotte spoke up.
"They'll be OK." Rick squeezed her side, as he had his arm around her.
"Does anyone need a drink? I need one." Vivian got up, opening the box he was sat on.
"What's in there?" Jac asked, sitting up to look inside.
"Water, salted peanuts, canned soup - tomato, cans of beans..." Vivian rumaged through.
I grabbed a water and opened it, taking a sip. It was cold. The box was a cooler. Excellent.

"Hey, Charlotte. Were you not drinking before?" I asked, handing the water to Joe, without looking at him.
"No... and not one of you noticed." Charlotte smiled, accepting a water from Viv.
"You're always the life of the party. How did we not notice?!" I laughed, as everyone shared water, one bottle between two.

"I actually wanted to ask! Are you seeing anyone, right now?" Jac looked at me.
"Yeah, you guys, so I'm not going blind. What about you?" I joked, making everyone laugh. "Seriously. No, I'm not."
"You not with Phil?" Joe asked me.
I looked at him, surprised. "No?"
"You were holding hands and you looked like you were about to kiss 'im." Joe frowned, drinking some water.
"He's my friend. Nothing more." My anxiety kicked in, making me shaky again.
"Thought you and him were just keeping it quiet. The bunk beds and all." Joe nodded at the door.
I shook my head. I couldn't speak.

"You and Phil don't look right, together. No offense!" Jac quickly added on the end.
I flashed her a smile, as an understanding, and curled up on myself.
"You cold?" Viv asked, not waiting for an answer. He opened another box and looked through it, pulling out a blanket and chucking it to me.

I took it and wrapped it around myself, going quiet, getting rather sleepy.
"02:04..." Vivian gave the girls a blanket and sat back down on a box he now closed.
"Time sure flies, when you're having fun." Rick mumbled.
"One left. There's now two. We could trap them." Vivian started thinking out loud.
"No, no, Viv." Jac shook her head.
"For arguments sake... Say we let them in here, they'll shut the door, we can lock them in Kate's room." Viv ran through it.
"Take out the cameras, set some traps, drive them out, hopefully in time for the cops to get here." Rick looked at the CCTV.
"But someone should come back in here, so they can't get back in. Someone should hide in my room." I looked up at Viv.
"It's do-able." Joe nodded.

"OK. Girls, go into the bathroom and lock the door. Do not, under any circumstances, leave the bathroom. Rick, draw them up here, I'll set up some traps. Joe, you lock them in Katie's room. They had drills and screws downstairs, so time it wisely. OK?" Viv asked.
We all stood up and nodded.
"Let's go." Vivian clapped his hands once. Plan is a go.
