Katie's P.O.V - 03:24 AM

I could feel Joe's heart beating, as I lay my head on his chest, my hand over his heart.
It was fast, from all the adrenaline and thoughts of the last half hour.

I don't even know what we are. He's still married... This is just wrong... but I don't want to let go.

"Joe..." I started.
"Hm?" He kissed the top of my head. "What are we? What happens after all this? You're still married..." I sat up, much to Joe's dismay.
"Well... I want to be with you. I want to see you every day and I don't want us to ever be apart!" He looked at me, smiling.
I smiled back. I wanted that too.
"I'll get divorced, then we can be together properly, but for now..." Joe opened his arms out, asking for me.
"You have to tell Erin." I looked at him.

He lowered his arms and sighed. "I know."
I just noticed he wasn't wearing his ring, but maybe he took it off for bed?
I took his hand and ran my fingers down his ring finger.
"I haven't worn it, since Christmas. I took it off, when we almost kissed, and never put it back on. Erin never noticed." Joe took my hand in his.

"What did you see in her? How could she not notice?" I asked, sitting back against the wall, leaning my head on Joe's shoulder.
He chuckled, lightly, playing with my fingers. "She was great, at the start, then my fame grew, and slowly it became about the money. The more exotic and luxurious, the better... I used to love her. Not anymore... Why would she notice one ring on me, when she has access to my bank account? I got sick of it, I just gave her my card and told her to 'go wild'. Biiiig mistake!" Joe then yawned.

"Should we go to sleep?" I asked, unsurly.
"You go to sleep." Joe got up, pulling the bed down for me. He grabbed a blanket and a pillow, laying them down, then he took my hands, pulling me up, and onto the bed.
"You go to sleep. I'll watch for the guys. No one can get in... You're safe in here, with me." Joe made me lie down, under the blanket, my feet to the door.

I got comfortable and closed my eyes. Joe grabbed a small torch and switched off the overhead lights.
I heard him switch on the torch and sit on a box.
I took a peek, out of one eye, and saw him looking at me.

He smiled and started to sing to me.
"I get hysterical, hysteria.
Oooh, can you feel it?
Do you believe it?
I actually wrote that one for you..."
"No way!" I grumbled.
"You don't have to believe me, but I know it's true." He smirked.
I smiled and soon fell asleep to him singing the rest of the song.

Alicia's P.O.V - 01:37 AM

I climbed out the window and down the drainage pipe, a car stopped outside the house, as my feet touch the ground.
I watched it, as Sav made it down. He took my hand and pulled me behind him. The car head lights flashed three times and drove, slowly, out of sight.

"Run!" He turned to me and we took off running - Out the drive and to the right.
The car was stopped, forcing us to stop and back up, but the drivers door opened and Hillary stepped out.
"Get in!" She called out, with her thick London accent.
We ran over and I climbed in the back, letting Sav take the passenger seat.

We all buckled up and Hillary drove, as quick as she could, to the police station.
"What's going on?!" She asked, her long gorgeous ginger hair swaying with her movements.
"Three guys broke in, everyone's in a safe room, we didn't know we had, Rick and Charlotte are three weeks pregnant, Joe's marriage is ending, and he and Katie are clearly in love, but neither will admit it! He stares at her all the time!" I filled Hillary in.
"Tell me about it!" Hillary snickered. "Is anyone hurt? Congrats on the new house and they're having a baby?!"
"No one is hurt, yet... Thanks and I know!" I smiled.

"Ladies, I'd hate to interrupt, but thanks for coming, Hill. I know this is a little weird, but we couldn't call the cops ourselves, if we did someone would of gotten hurt!" Sav butted in.
"No, it's fine! I understand. I'd be the same. Did you see any faces? Hear any voices?" Hillary asked us.
"No, but they're all from Sheffield." Sav sighed.
"Strong accents!" I chimed.

Hillary nodded and parked up, outside the station. We all climbed out, Sav took my hand, and we all ran in.
We ran to the front desk and explained all that we could and then it was on!
The receptionist called for assistance, we had to give statements each, separately, then when they had an idea, as to what they were dealing with, they asked for our address, gave us coffees and kept us in, for our protection.

Police started to gather riot gear and back up was called in. We heard sirens start up and fade out, a man shouting orders, what he wanted, when and where, we were sat in a room with a L shaped sofa and tables dotted around. We sat at a table, just silently watching everything we could.
This quickly became surreal, but so fascinating to watch.

Every so often, an officer would come in and check on us, but we were OK. Hillary stayed with us, and we briefly caught up on each other's lives, but then she left us, to ring her sister, who lives in London, their hometown. We couldn't tell anyone what was going on, but we could let them know we were OK, though I had no one to call.

Adopted at three years old, parents divorced when I was twelve, only child, no contact with dad, mum now deceased five years.
"You know... I had a surprise for you, tomorrow..." Sav took my hand, sat on my left.
"Hm? What was it?" I asked, giving him all my attention.

Sav's been there for me, since the day I met him. Mum loved him and I wish my dad could of met him. Mum told me to hold onto him, cause 'his kind are rare to find' she'd tell me again, and again.

"I don't want to spoil anything." Sav sighed.
"Three guys, somehow, broke into our new home! You'd be making my day!" I looked at the man who held my heart.
He smiled at me and kissed my hand, before standing up and dropping to one knee.

"Holy shit!" I gasped.
"I was going to wait until everyone left, then do this when you weren't expecting it... I love you, Alicia Jade Grant, with my whole heart and I can't ever imagine being without you. Will you marry me?" He reached in his jeans pocket and pulled out my mum's wedding ring.
"Yes!" I shouted, jumping up, knocking my chair back.

Sav laughed and placed the ring on my finger, before standing up and kissing me.
"Where did you get this ring?!" I asked, placing my left hand on his chest, over his heart.
"Your mum gave it to me, the last time we saw her. She told me to give it to you, when I was ready. I'm sorry it took me over ten years!" He smiled.
