We had received an invitation from the Weasleys to join them at the quidditch world cup and for us to be able to go we had to practically beg Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon- reluctantly, they let us go. Both Harry and I had rushed off to pack our trunk, as we would be staying at The Burrow until we went back to school. Although I didn't particularly like quidditch, the idea of going to see the world cup is rather exciting.
"Can you believe Uncle Vernon is letting us go y/n?" Harry asked me, placing the last of his stuff at the top of his trunk.
"Not really if i'm being honest, although I suppose he's happy to be rid of us," I let out a small laugh.
"Yeah you're right y/n," he smiles, slamming his trunk shut and I follow suit.
"I should write to Sirius, let him know where I'll be." Harry grabbed some partchment and quickly scribbled a note on it before attaching it to Hedwigs leg, "I'll be at The Burrow so don't return here." With that said the owl took off.
"Why write to Sirius Black?"
"He's our Godfather. Did i not tell you?"
"No, you didn't," I sighed. My brother almost never told me bloody anything, normally Hermione would be the one to tell me. It was my own fault really, I should ask about this sort of stuff.
"Oh, sorry y/n. I'll be sure to let you know if anyother stray realatives pop up," Harry laughed before going to get changed into his pyjamas- i did the same. We both climbed into our beds, snuggling under our covers, then realised that the bloody lights were still on. "You were the last in bed, so you have to turn off the lights," Harry smirked at me as, with a huff, I hauled myself out of bed and flicked the switch.

It was five o'clock noon and they were late, a fact that caused much distate to our uncle. "Perhaps- er- traffic is bad." Harry stutters and Uncle Vernon merely scoffed at him. Time ticked by and the rude remarks my Uncle and Aunt were making just got worse and worse. Suddenly, Dudley came running into the room with a rather shocked look on his face.
"What is it?" Uncle Vernon asked and Dudley led us into the living room. Behind the Dursleys boarded up fire place, were some rather strange noises . "Ouch! Fred, go back tell your father that there's been some sort of mistake- GEORGE! No go back there's no room!" A rather distressed sounding Mrs Weasley said from behind the firepalce.
"They came by the floo network!" I giggled, Harry joining in with me.
"THE WHAT!" Vernon yelled, clearly not as amused as we were. Aunt Petunia gawked at us and she looked like she might faint.
"Harry, y/n! Can you here me?" Mr Weasley called, making me and Harry stifle a laugh once again.
"Yes Mr Weasley. Just to let you know the fireplace is boarded up," Harry replied.
I turned to face my aunt, "They can travel through fireplaces, it's called the floo network."
My aunt scoffed at me, "How ridiculous."
"What they'd do that for? Anyways stand back," Mr Weasley called once again.
"Why? Arthur what are you-"
"Bombarda Maxima!"
The boards that had previously blocked up the fireplace had been blown right off- now my aunt really looked like she might faint.
"Where are your bags Potters?" The Weasley twins asked and we both replied insync, "in the room at the top of the stairs." A few moments later, Fred and George came back downstairs with both out trunks in hand.
