Driving to the camp I look in the rearview mirror to see if my appearance has changed. Fuck it actually has! I look normal again!
My long hair is still here and now I look as pale as I used to... Jesus, what the fuck is in my head? I'm not going crazy right? I really hope that night doesn't ruin it all... I don't wanna be known as a crazy insane person...
We're driving down the highway and take the right turn we were supposed to take, then we drive for a little while more then turn to an offroad way that leads into the woods. Approaching the forest we pass a sign called "Camp Temaki" I... I don't remember it being called that when I checked the website for it? It was something along the lines of Renavou Camp. But it doesn't matter really.
We stop near a little parking spot, there's like two other cars here. They look so dusty, abandoned, their tires are flat and have almost fallen off the damned thing. Maybe... I dunno, probably nothing to worry about.

Cassie looks at me with the most cutest puppy eyes, her ears are like leaning down! She's the most cutest and adorable human being in the world, I'm so lucky to have her by my side, I'm so lucky she even wanted to talk to me that day... Jesus, I was a fucking dumbass. Almost lost her the first day haha

I give her a kiss on her forehead and she looks up so pleased and smiles at me, I swear her eyes must light in the dark, they're so cute and beautiful.

Cassie walks up to me and gives me a hug before we start walking down the forest. The forest is just how I remembered it from my childhood, the trees lead 50 meters up into the air, a long long walkway down it, trees surrounding the sides of the walkway. Tree branches reaching forward, filled with leaves, light filling the entire place with a beautiful orange color. This place is most beautiful in the fall... God, I remember this place... it was so beautiful...
We've walked for about an hour now, we take a right and lightly wander into the forest hoping to find a beautiful place to stay at. After hours of walking and walking, we finally find a place really good to set camp. Open area, with some logs here and there we can fix up a little fire with, a pond to the side where we can get some water for the rest of the week.
We set up camp! one tent for Roland, one for me and Cassie. Because he's scared he's gonna see us do something... fucking moron
Its been several hours now. We haven't really done anything other than sitting around, talk about our past lives and shit we used to do.
Cassie was a big-time photographer, she loved to take photos of things she thought looked... interesting and different from anything else. The artistic expressions she used to do were so different but in the same way beautiful. Everything was done with finesse, pure art, pure heart, and completely honest. Nothing about the photos she takes are lies and photoshop. It's amazing how a person can make something like a plant look like its the most beautiful thing in the world. She also used to be a big-time geek. She loved to study but in the long run, started to hate it more and more.
Roland was the best in school. He had the girls, the money, the designer clothes, the big fat stacks of cash. Well... that's what he told everyone. He was just a standard guy, but damn he was smooth and good with the girls. He had this one girl, Amanda. She literally did anything for him like she was his little bank. He didn't even make her, she just bought things for him without him asking for it. She was a really sweet and innocent girl but she used to be very depressed and desperate. But Roland was one of my best friends from freshman to high-school.
And then there's just me. I think in the time we were sitting there, there were more jokes about me than anyone else. I was just you standard ol' Johnny. I used to smoke... a lot actually, to the point where I was really fucked by drugs. Anything from weed to ecstasy. Weed was probably the best... ecstasy just made you jolly and happy and a fucking party animal... the one that got me off all of this was Cassie... The best girl you could ever ask from... a perfect picture of a perfect girl... She was the most amazing, prettiest, smart girl ever... I love her and I will always love her no matter what.
If I have to die for her. I will free my life, for her.
