(There will be two scenarios for this)

S 1: You was a mermaid that has spent your whole life underwater. You was forbidden to go up to the surface because merpeople would always say that humans were the reason why merpeople had to hide. One day you was swimming too far from your kingdom when you got caught in a fishing net and crush had noticed and helped you out

S 2: You was a human who always believed that merpeople exist beneath the waters. Everyone always made fun of you except for your best friend. One day after being teased by others you was by the rocks talking to yourself and being on the beach when all of the sudden, you heard splashing noises not to far from you. As you went over to the fishing net, you noticed that a mermaid was trapped in the fishing net.
