Long ago, there was a clan of nature spirits who have been in war with the clan with death bringers; who are nasty spirits and want to bring death to all life. Both clans started to dwindle in numbers, until the nature spirits had a catastrophic event that lead to a lot of them dying.

12+ years later, Oc was trying not to get in trouble with a gang that hates them, Oc was attacked by a death bringer and part of their face and shoulder was being affected by it. Until a nature spirit found them and sealed a creature with a magical flowers, which made Oc grow golden rods on those spots but they had also got a goldenrod tail; like a wolf but covered in golden rods and leaves and some leaf ears which work as normal ears. Oc has no memory since the death bringer made it so close to their brain. Now they live in the forest where he can create plant creatures, who have their own mind and free but will not hesitate to protect Oc. But soon the nature spirit was killed, leaving Oc alone with a rose on their head. If the rose was normal then it told everyone that they was doing ok but if it was wilting and brown, then they needed water. If they drink anything else then they will die. If their skin is also damaged, a patch of goldenrod will grow on that spot, same goes with the goldenrod except it is very painful.

Winter has came around and Oc is back to living at (wherever) and they was having some difficulty finding water and their friends were going underground for hibernation. So Oc goes out into the city to try and find water and hoping to find somewhere warm but no luck. After a few days, Oc started to get sick which makes their condition worsen. They were in an alleyway, tired,sick,cold and hungry and slowly dying, crush finds them there but has no idea about the flowers on their face so they bring them in and take care of them.
