I woke up late at night to the sharp pain of my abdomen. After this morning's incident with Isabel, it was certain that her kick was to leave a bruise. I'm just glad that she didn't messed up my internal organs. Ingrid and Anja was pretty furious with her. It seems that they were the ones who told everybody in our corps about the incident this morning. Though I'm glad that this hasn't reach the ears of our superiors, it's partially my fault that everyone has been distancing themselves from the three new recruits. It hasn't even been one whole day, yet people have decided that they were 'bad news'. News spread like wildfire about them being an Underground criminal - and how they stole ODMs to use it for their own benefits. I felt guilty about this as I was the one who told Anja and Ingrid about their backgrounds. If only I'd kept my mouth shut.

I made my way towards the kitchen to get myself some mint leaf and eucalyptus oil. I had used it to try and soothe the pain early this morning. As I was walking down the hallways, I grasped the walls and trudged myself, dragging my feet along the floor while wheezing in pain. I was in so much agony. Every step felt like another punch has been thrown and my tears can't help, but to escape from my eyes. I clutched my stomach to prevent it from moving too much, thinking that it will stopped the pain somehow, but it didn't.

Finally, after much effort limping, I've reached the dining hall. I was expecting everyone to be asleep by then, and no one would be there. However, I was surprised to see one of the new recruits, Levi, was sitting alone in the dimmed room, enjoying his cup of tea. It appears that Levi heard my heavy thudding steps that as soon as I saw him, he turned around and our eyes met. I must say, it did frightened me a bit, as he resembles so much like a ghost or maybe a killer. I glanced away and chose to ignore him, making my way towards the supply room. I was taking my steps carefully as I continued to clutched my stomach. Levi, who hasn't taken his eyes off of me, began to notice my odd movements.

"Why'd you walk funny?" He asked. I was shocked to see that he would start a conversation, and here I thought he wasn't interested in making friends.

"Ahh..Err... My stomach hurts." I told him.

Levi was wandering his eyes, seemingly thinking of a way to respond to my answer.

"Constipation?" He asked the second time.

Oh gosh, he thinks I have bowel problems!

"What?..Haha..No.. just injuries from being a soldier, you know. It's nothing." I made up an excuse.

Somehow, I was trying to keep the fact that Isabel was the one who hurt me as a secret. Although, truly I wanted to shout at him and made a fussed about it. I'm sure even if I had told him, he wouldn't care or give a single ounce of empathy at all.  I then made my way to the kitchen's pantry.

I felt a gushed of relieve when I reached my intent destination. I could finally relaxed and rest a bit after the strenuous walk from my room to the kitchen. My back were starting to ache a bit and my legs seems to be shaking - both because they were tired and because I was in pain. I lay myself on the kitchen's floor and melt myself on the tile. I was panting heavily as I tilt my head, facing the ceiling and took deep breaths to try and cool myself down. It even hurts to breathe as I had to take short breaths instead of the normal-deep breaths. While I was leaning against the walls and my body was resting, I lift up my shirt just enough to see the bruise that has manifested itself on my skin. I was utterly perturbed when I saw the huge purple and black stain residing on the surface of my skin. It also has some yellow-green blotched surrounding it. It was as big as my hand, even bigger actually. I placed my stretched hands on top of it to try and compare its size. It wasn't this bad since the last time I saw it.

Just as I was lost in my train of thoughts, suddenly I heard a familiar voice, which made me jumped.

"Oi, you call that nothing." Scoffed Levi, whilst staring sharply at my bruise. He was leaning against the pantry's arch-doorway with both of his arms and legs, crossed.
