After we played other games and talked, people started to get hungry.

"Food is in the kitchen," PJ said, smiling.

Most everyone got up, except for Phil and I.

I played it off, like I didn't hear.

I was on my iPhone when people came back into the living area.

Dan had a small paper plate filled with small things, as did most everyone else.

He was standing in the doorway talking to Chris, then I saw them look at me, then smile and start talking again.

I smiled, then got on my phone again.

A hand touched my shoulder.

I looked behind me.

David.

"Hey cutie," he smirked.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I'm sorry for the whole.."

"Nose bleed?"

"Yeah, basically."

He flashed a smile.

"You hungry?" He asked.

I tried to look irritated.

"No, and if you'll excuse me," I said, getting up to sit by Phil.

I shook his shoulder, getting both his and Elise's attention.

"What the deal with blondie?" I whispered.

"Long story; dude from Uni, they fought over girls, he won," Phil said.

"David?"

"Yeah, so, Dan's been pretty.. What's the word, overprotective?" He said, fixing his hair.

"Which means..?"

"It'd be better if you just didn't talk to him, or at least not in front of Dan," he said.

"I heard the sexiest man alive's name?" Dan said, kissing my cheek, beer in hand.

I froze for a second.

"There's only two other girls here, anyway," I thought. "And one's his best friend's girl."

"Yes, you did," I teased.

My stomach growled gently to only my own knowledge.

"You hungry?" Dan asked, pushing a few strands of hair behind my ear.

I pursed my lips, "Not really." I lied.

He looked at me, "Okay."

"I'm not!" I giggled.

He narrowed his eyes questioningly.

I smiled, rolling my eyes.

"So, our friends, when they get in here, want to actually have a conversation?" Dan gave me a thumbs up, smiling, then laughing.

"Sure, if I don't get a remote to the face," I said, loud enough that David could hear.

Strangely, Dan glared at him, before I even said that.

David smirked.

Dan grabbed my neck from the back with his dominant hand, him being the only human allowed to, and kissed me.

I gladly kissed back.

"Please, don't talk to him," Dan whispered, before kissing my neck.

I honestly just wanted to know what was had happened between them.

David glared back in our direction.

My fucking stomach has great timing.

I load groan took place from my stomach.

Pretty much everyone laughed.

"Dude, eatttt~," Elise giggled, tossing me a few crackers.

Everyone looked at me.

"Fine," I grabbed them.

"You guys want to watch a movie?" Peej asked.

Positive answers were heard response.

"Take a look here, okay, The Purge, Paranormal Activity, or Howl's Moving Castle?"

"That's an odd collection," Elise giggled.

"Not much different from ours!" I responded.

We voted, and eventually chose, The Purge.

About a fourth of the way through, I started to get hungrier.

"No," I thought, "Skip dinner, get thinner."

I zoned out, into my own thoughts.

Dan

The movie was nearing a halfway point, then I noticed (y/n) staring off.

I poked her cheek, the spot where when she smiles, a deep, adorable dimple shows.

She blinked a few times, then smiled at me, and pulled gently at a hoodie string.

"Can I get in my position?" She whispered, grinning.

I nodded, as she got in her regular spot, across my legs, hers on the arm of the sofa.

I played with her hair as the movie went along.

She jumped a few times, but never got too scared.

Even Phil got scared, I don't know how she didn't.
