She's Come Back

Ch. Two

Keisha stood standing outside of Jakes for god knows how long. It's been about eight years since she'd been here. In Port Charles. Eight years ago she'd been kidnapped by this psycho named Franco and only a few days ago was she finally able to escape from him with the help of some nosey neighbors.

Sighing, she went to turn away only to bump into someone. "I am so sorry!" she cries out.

"Don't worry about it. It's fine. No harm done." Keisha looks up at the sound of the familiar voice.

Robin Scorpio.

She watched as Robins eyes widened at the sight of her,"Keisha? Keisha Ward?" she gasped.

She paniced. She hadn't planned on making her appearance known yet, "I uh, I think you have me confused with someone else." she says, moving to pas her but Robin wrapped a hand around her wrist, pulling her to a stop.

"No, I don't think I do, Keisha." she says.

Keisha meets her gaze,"You CAN'T tell anyone you saw me." she pleads with her.

"What!? Keisha, everyone thinks your dead! How can I NOT?" Robins eyes widened suddenly and she gasped as her hands flew over her mouth.

"What?"

She slowly removed her hands,"Jason." she says, causing Keisha to stiffen at the mention of his name. She had not heard that name in years but it's the only name she could ever think about.

"Jason." she says softly.

"All this time he thought you were dead. You have no idea what losing you did to him. He's not the same Jason you knew." she says.

Keisha looks up at her,"What do you mean?"

"A few weeks after he lost you he and AJ were in a car accident, AJ had been drinking and was trying to drive. Jason got into the car with him to try and stop him and AJ ended up crashing. Jason lost his memory of his life. He started pulling away from everyone and even changed his last name to Morgan." Robin says, gazing into Keish's eyes.

"Oh My God." she gaped.

"He couldn't remember anyone. Anyone but you. All of his memories about you came back. He went looking for you. It broke my heart when I had to tell him that you were gone. I saw something in him break that day. You were his first love, Keisha. I don't think I've ever seen Jason as happy as he was when he was with you." Robin says.

Keisha sighed,"I appreciate you telling me this but you still can't tell anyone you saw me. Not yet. I need to do this on my own time. Please, keep this to yourself." she pleads.

Robin sighs,"Okay. I won't say anything but you need to let Jason know you're alive." she says.

Keisha nods,"I know but I can't right now."

"Are you staying somewhere in town?"

Keisha nods,"I found an apartment not to far from here."

"Okay. I won't say anything to anyone. Promise."

"Thank you." she says before walking away.
