I can't believe that someone would just say that! "Maybe... it was just a prank to scare you..?" I looked down, I could feel the tears wanting to escape from my eyes.

Me, Katelyn, Kawaii-chan, and Garroth were standing in front of the school gates. We kept talking about that letter that Garroth received in his locker.

"You really think that someone would just say that? As a prank!" Katelyn yelled. "I mean... it could've been Gene! You know how he is." I calmly say.

"You're right... Gene does like to scare people but..." Garroth paused for a second. "He wouldn't go this far... or would he?"

I started thinking.

Maybe Garroth's right. Gene is the type to ruin people's lives and scaring them but he would never go this far.

"How about we just throw the paper away," I suggested. They looked at me and nodded. "Let's just pretend that nothing happened."

I couldn't focus in class all day. I always get so distracted by him. Why does he have to be in almost all of my classes?! And why does he look so friggin hot!?!

"God dammit Aphmau! Did you go deaf or something?"

"H-huh?" I snapped back into reality. I looked up in front of me and I was met with an angry Katelyn. She had her arms crossed against her chest while Kawaii-chan was just standing there beside her.

"What?" I asked nervously. Honestly, I'm kinda of scared of Katelyn.

"Was Aphmau-Senpai daydreaming about him?" Kawaii-chan asked with that happy tone in her voice and those stars in her eyes. She was really close to my face, waiting for an answer.

"M-maybe..." I muttered. I could feel a light blush creeping onto my face. "Ok. I was thinking about him." I admitted, smiling shyly, they already know about him but I still get nervous.

"Why doesn't Aphmau-Senpai confess already?" Kawaii-chan stomps her feet. "As much as I want to confess to him... I'm just scared that he's going to reject me..." I look back down, tears were starting to form. I know that I'm such a crybaby, many people make fun of me for being weak.

Katelyn and Kawaii-chan embrace me into a big friend hug. "If he rejects you I swear to Irene that I'm going to kick his ass!" I always saw Katelyn as a big overprotective sister. I really enjoy her and Kawaii-chan's company. There like my family.

"So, Aphmau. Is it true?" Teony asks as she gets close to Aphmau's face.

"What are you talking about?" Aphmau asks, clearly confused about what her friend is talking about.

"Is it true that you still have a crush on Aaron Lycan?" Teony's eyes was filled with excitement. Hoping for the answer to be yes.

Aphmau's face turned a dark red crimson color. "W-well you s-see I... um.. I... maybe?"

"Oh come on, Aphmau!" Teony crosses her arms. "You still like him don't you?" Teony smirked, making Aphmau really nervous.

"Yeah... I do.."

"He looked at me!" I freaked out as my friends were laughing at my behavior. "He looked at me! He looked at me! He looked at me!" I kept rocking back and forth as I kept repeating myself.

"Calm down, Aphmau." Lucinda put her hands on my shoulders to make me stop. "Now, tell us what happened." She smiled.

I took a deep breath. "Well... I was just minding my own business and... I saw him in the corner of my eye... I saw him staring at me..." I blushed as I continued thinking about him.

His jet black hair, his beautiful midnight eyes, his handsome face, his smile. I remember seeing him smiling, like it was the first time. Or maybe because I never saw him smile before.

"Earth to Aphmau~" I saw Teony waving her hand right in front of my face. I give her a confused look.

I really have to stop daydreaming.

"So that's why your face was all red when you came out of the classroom?" Katelyn asked.

"Maybe." I mutter. She rolls her eyes and looks over at Kawaii-chan, she just shrugs at Katelyn.

Maybe... he wasn't looking at me. Maybe he was just looking at someone else. I mean.. there are prettier girls that are smarter, have a pretty face, and some that aren't so... short.

As I turned around the corner, I accidentally bump into someone. "Meep!" I shrieked. I quickly close my eyes, too scared to even open them. I started thinking that maybe it was either Gene or Balto.

But there was silence.

I decided to slowly open one eye, which I did, and to my surprise. It was him. I couldn't help but blush. I also noticed that he had a light blush across his face. I didn't know what to do.

But that's when realization hit me.

"Meep!" I quickly push him away and I start running off. "I'm so sorry!" I yelled back at him. I didn't want to look behind me. I just embarrassed myself! I thought as I ran into a janitor's closet.

My heart! It's beating so fast! And it's not because of the running! How did I even bump into him?

I'm so embarrassed!
