Y/N's POV

Laying on the top of the roof watching the beautiful misty dark sky with many twinkling stars and a moon that shining brightly.

What makes it more beautiful is I'm with my man that just fall asleep beside me.

I turn to face him and seeing his handsome face makes my lips curl up.

I sit up slowly to not make any noise so I can't wake him.

I stand up and walk silently to go inside the window to bring the cake that I baked earlier.

I go outside again while bringing the cake with a lighted candle.

I sit and put down the cake beside me.

I shake Kai gently to wake him up. He suddenly yawn and stretch his arms. He scratch his eyes and look at me.

"Did you just waited me so long?" he said and sit while facing me.

"No I didn't" I answered with a smile on my lips.

I get the cake in my back and show it to him.

"Happy birthday, Love.." I said silently.

He took a glimpse at the cake before looking at me.

"Did you made this?" he asked with a smile on his face.

I nodded many times.

"Make a wish and blow this candle" I said to him.

I see that he is not smiling geniunely. I frowned when he close his eyes and blow the candle.

When he open his eyes, I quickly force myself to smile.

He get the cake in my hand and put it in his side.

"Come here" he whispers.

I get closer beside him and he suddenly wrapped his arm in my shoulder. My lips curl up and put my head on his shoulder.

"What did you wish?" I asked him.

"Do you really want to know?" he said and chuckles.

I hummed in response to him.

"I wished that the person who love me so much will set me free.." he whispers.

I remove his hand in my shoulder and look at him.

"What?" I said and frowned at him.

"You heard me right, Y/N" he said with a sad tone voice.

"Why?" I snuffle.

"We can't love each other, Y/N... your family is against in this relationship and my family is also against our relationship" he said.

"But you said that we will be strong and didn't mind their decisions, right?" My voice is slightly airy because I feel my tears are now forming in my eyes.

"I'm getting married, Y/N" he said and look away.

My brain can't catch the words that he's saying.

"Hyuka.. If this is a joke please stop already.." I weakly said to him.

He look at me with a serious face.

I just hug my knees and cry.

"W-Why you didn't say it to me from the start.." My voice crack while saying those words.

"Because I didn't expect that this will happen between us... I didn't love the girl that I'm marrying.. I didn't know her.. I didn't even see her" he said.

"You lied.. You said that you will fight for me but you just lied!" I said and continue sobbing.

"Yes.. I lied.. I'm a liar!" he said and harshly brush his hair backwards.

"Your wish is granted.. I'm setting you free.." I said and force myself to smile.

When I was about to stand up, Kai hold my hand.

"Please stay even just this last day.." he plead.

I look at him just a seconds. I deeply sighed and sit back.

Sitting together with a little gap between us, looking at the shining star above us like there's no problem between us.

I look up to prevent my tears from falling but I failed.

"I'm sorry.." he said and hug me makes me cry louder.

He leave a kiss in my forehead and I feel a hot tears flow on my forehead.

We let go even if we didn't like to do it.

Falling to my family's enemy is hard knowing that both families will be the reason of our heartbreaks.

They're so good for torning us like a piece of paper.

Breaking us like a piece of stick.

Burning us like a thin cloth..

We're so weak to handle this kind of relationship.

We're easily wrecked.

Maybe I'm stupid to grant your wish but It's your birthday wish so I did it for you and for your happiness also.

I'm not your genie.

I'm not your fairy godmother..

I'm not a shooting star..

I'm just your lover but I granted your painful Wish..

So that's why I set you free..
