Alyssa's POV

When I opened my eyes I didn't know where I was for a few seconds. Then it hit me. The hospital. I start to panic. Mom knows. Oh no... Mom knows. Taylor knows. Dad knows. Everyone knows! How am I supposed tell them. What are they going to say? What will- just then a doctor comes in and cuts off my thoughts.

"Well, good morning Alyssa. It's about time you have woken up. I'm Doctor Garcia. You can call me Doctor G." He flashes a smile at me. "H-How long have I-I been asleep? W-What day is it? W-Wha..." I couldn't say anything else. I was too tired.

"Try not to talk Alyssa. You are very weak at the moment. You have been out for a week and a half. It's normal considering the circumstances. You have friends and family waiting for you wake. Would you like me to send them in?" My eyebrows scrunch together. "Wh-Who came to *breathes* s-see me?"

Doctor G. looks up as he thinks. "Your mother and father, Taylor and.... Who is it. There's one more... Ah ha! Ashton."

I nod. "S-Send them all. All b-but Ashton. H-Him last and a-alone." Doctor G. nodded and left. A few minutes later I see my mom and Taylor running towards the room. My dad is slowly walking. Taylor lets my mom in first.

"Alyssa. My baby. My poor baby. I'm so sorry!" She starts crying. I open my arms to let her know she can hug me. She runs to the bed and launches herself into my arms. "I'm so sorry honey! Why didn't you tell me? I'm sorry!" She gets up and goes into the bathroom to blow her nose.

I can hear crying from somewhere but I don't know who else is crying. I see my dad. His eyes are red. He's been crying. And he never cries.

Once he makes eye-contact with me he starts crying again. He's whispering something but I can't hear it.

Then I look at Tay-Tay. It looks like she hasn't slept the whole time I've been in here. Her eyes are blood-shot. Huge bags under them. She hasn't changed clothes since I saw her last.

She slowly starts to walk towards me. I nod letting her know it's okay. She runs to the bed climbing into my lap. She places her head on my shoulder and bawls.

"I'm s-sorry babe." I say to her. "I-I didn't think i-it would get this b-bad." I exhale all the air I have left and take in more. "I sh-should have told you." She shakes her head.

"Honey no. It's okay. It's my fault. I should have been checking on you. I know how you get sometimes and I should have made sure nothing was wrong." She starts bawling.

Doctor G. comes in and tells my parents and Tay-Tay that they need to leave now. They all say goodbye to me. All I could do was nod.

"Would you like Ashton to come in now?" He asks. I nod. Once again he leaves the room and a few minutes later Ashton walks in. He's been crying too...

"W-Why are you here?" I ask him. "Because I thought we were friends. I can leave if.." "No, stay." I cut him off. He nods. "Why?" I look at him confused. "Why this? Why have you been doing this to yourself and how long?"

"W-Why do you c-care?" I ask him. He sits there as if he's thinking how to grab the right words and put them together. "I care because I do it too." He rolls up his sleeves to reveal scars. Tons and tons of scars. Some old. Some new.

I was just about so say something when it started to go black. Ashton looked up to see my eyes shutting and screamed for the doctor.
