It was the first night of their 3-day holiday vacation from filming the drama.

It was quite a chilly night and Go Eun was grateful that she didn't need to spend it outside shooting scenes. She was curled up in her sofa with her blanket and a cup of warm coffee in hand.

Truthfully, this was kind of a big night. It would be the first time that they would be together without any staff, any cameras or watchful eyes. She couldn't help but smile when she remembered how they started. They had hit it off from the very first time they shot their very first scene. She found that laughter comes easily to him, and that laugh was quite infectious and it felt good hearing him laugh especially when he found something she says or do funny. It made her realize how unreserved he was and how easy it would be to work with him.

She smiled at the thought, she remembered quite clearly how their first take was no good because she made him laugh for real, that was actually her first impression of him. Carefree and playful, Lee Min Ho at that moment has made a mark on her.

As days passed by, they easily joked around with each other, they asked random questions, they took care of each other, and they worked pretty well together. There were times during romantic scenes that shy smiles, soft eyes and unsure movements were evident, but at the end of the day, she tries not to give too much thought into those and tried to separate herself from Jeong Tae Eul. Well, she tried, but apparently it was unsuccessful. She admits ruefully with a small smile on her face.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her phone getting a text message.

"I'm coming up" was the short message,

She leapt from the sofa, put the cup in the sink. She tried to still her heart and took one last look on the mirror by the hall and waited by the door.

He took the elevator upon entering her building. Once the door was closed he involuntarily started to tap his hand on his thigh, he was full of nervous energy, he had been thinking of what to wear, what to say, what to do and what to bring since this morning. Three days ago he had finally grab his opportunity when he walked her to her van after a pretty exhausting day.

He had been carrying a Minomi keychain for quite some time then, just constantly thinking of ways of how to ask her out. And he had been practicing on that Minomi keychain doll for God knows how long.

Finally on that fateful night, her staff was still busy organizing when he noticed Go Eun was being quiet and she was trying to stay awake even when her eyes had started drooping every few seconds.

"You need to rest Eunni-ah, would it be okay if I walk you to your van ahead of your staff?"

She looked at him then scrunched up her nose and smiled. Her whisper of "Please" was almost inaudible. He remembered how he smiled at her then too, how he was excited to tell her staff that he'll walk her to her van.

He remembered his hand was at her lower back, not touching but just ready just in case she'll need support. He remembered how he had an internal debate of whether it's the right time to ask her out when she's sleep deprived at the moment.

He didn't even realize he was muttering when she stopped and faced him. She was trying hard not to smile and she was looking anywhere but him, when at last she met his eyes she was pursing her lips and even slightly bit her lower lip.
