Kim Go Eun

The night has been going well for them, and they were talking for quite some time then when she noticed snow has started to fall when she looked over his shoulder.

She didn't really paid mind to it, snow at this time of the year was not surprising, she was talking about the time she was filming Goblin in Canada, just as how Ji Eun Tak had fallen in love with Quebec, she fell in love with the city too, with its cozy streets and distinct feel. When she noticed he had fallen silent and his eyes were drifting from her face to his legs and to the door.

"Sunbae? What's wrong? Is it time for you to leave?" she interrupts her story to ask.

When he winced and lightly put his hand on his knee, her heart dropped. Of course, she didn't even think that the change in temperature outside could still affect him. She chided herself and made a mental note. She felt bad for not taking care of him.

"Tell me what you need please, should I turn the heat up? Do you need anything? How about your medication? A heating pad?" she asked as she couldn't help but fuss over him.

She wasn't even aware that she had rested her left hand on his right arm and her right hand went straight to his hand when she turned her whole body just so they could be face to face.

She only became hyper aware of her position when his whole body has stiffened. She slowly withdraws her hands and an apology on her mind when his hand grasps hers unexpectedly as she pulls away.

"Don't go" she heard him say.

So she stayed, with her hand engulfed by his hand, and her eyes searching his for any indication of pain. She saw him taking some deep breaths and finally answered.

"I... well... honestly, I kind of need my medication right now and well, it would help a lot if my environment is you know... quite warm." He admitted softly

"But I forgot my bag in the car... and its"

"I'll get it Sunbae!" she exclaimed

She knew she had said it almost as a yell and she will apologize if it had offended him. But she just couldn't bear the thought of him leaving her couch right now and being in more pain.

She heard him chuckle.

"Kim Go Eun, I think you're not supposed to interrupt your seniors rudely" he teased as he softly laugh.

She couldn't help but wince.

"But I would really appreciate if you could get my bag" he said as he smiled at her, "But it's parked outside your building, the guard told me that parking spots were reserved for family and friends"

She heard disappointment in his voice and she promised to herself that the guard would have an earful, well more like a request and a plea if needed; she doesn't have it in her to treat people disrespectfully.

"I'm sorry Sunbae, I told them you were coming here as a guest" she apologizes with a slight squeeze to his hand she was still holding.

"No matter, I'll get your bag and be right back" she smiled at him as she held out her hand for his keys.

She heard the clinking of keys when he fished it out of his pocket, directed her to his parking space. She gave his hand one last squeeze and let go. She immediately fleeted off the couch and went straight to her bedroom.
