While I was done stuffing my face with all the hospital food the cafeteria lady would allow me to get my hands on. I had some nasty soup stuff that I only ate half of, some baked chicken breasts, some yummy mashed potatoes, a jell-o cup, and 4 little cans of cranberry juice. Mom walked in while I was eating my cherry Italian ice.
"How much money will that cost?" My mom asked wide eyed
"Well cetain things are free for the patients, so far Violet picked the foods that are free" The nurse said with a small laugh
"Oh, ok" She gave a sigh of relief
"Thank you" My mom and I said in unison
"Welcome" The nurse took the plates and stuff back to the cafeteria with the cart.
"What did the doctor tell you?" I said curious
"Well..." My mom said with a mischievous smile
"What?" I asked cautiously
"Are you ready for two of the four surprises?"
"Yeah!! What are they????" I almost screamed
"Well... the doctor said you are healing completely, but you need to stay here for one more so they can finish some tests. So they're releasing you next week." She said with a smile
"OMFG!!!!! Really??!!! Yayyyy!!!" I jumped a bit in the bed.
"Well after being in a coma for almost 3 weeks and had only been awake for two weeks...." She trailed off.
"And??" I asked excitedly ignoring the time I spent here. It's been 5 weeks two of which I was awake and responding perfectly. Actually better than perfect.
She smiled and continued "The doctor said you healed quicker than most people will. There's certain things that will still take you a bit to get used to, but he said that's normal"
"Mom you're kind of rambling on"
"No I'm not!" She said in protest
"Hehehe... I remember having a boy friend. Jaybie?"
"Haha yes that's what I was trying to tell you. I guess I was rambling. But anyway, you guys have together for how long?" She paused thinking. She was about to count on her fingers when I interrupted her thoughts.
" 4 years?" I said making it come out in a question instead of an answer.
She smiled warmly.
"You remember" A soft voice came from the door. He had an accent but I couldn't put my finger on what.
"Yes, I have been having dreams about seeing me and my boyfriend together but I can only see my face not his" I said a little shy
'Damn was he so gorgeous. He has beautiful brown hair. And beautiful eyes. He was just so adorable.'
"Well I'm going to leave you two to talk" My mom said.
"ok" was all I said.
He sat down next to the bed.
"Hey, how you been?" He asked
"I'm good, you?" I replied
"Same" He said
'I got it!!! He had a Swedish accent'
"You're from Sweden?" I asked carefully
"Yeah" He giggled. "I thought you...." He trailed off
"You thought what?
"You don't remember me, do you?" He looked as he was about to cry.
I hesitated. I tried really hard to remember.
After about a minute of thinking, I broke the silence.
"Jaybie?"
"You remembered" He with a huge smile
"Yeah"
"Um, if it's not too much can you do me a favor?"
"Yeah, sure, anything"
I laughed. "Kiss me" He obeyed. I felt the sparks as soon as our lips touched. The sparks, fireworks, the butterflies in my stomach it felt soo good. I smiled half way through the kiss. When we parted away he smiled and said "I love you" "I love you too" I replied.
I patted the spot next to me on the bed and motioned him to sit with me. He did and after spending like 2 hours of talking about our memories together which he helped me remember.
"You remember my band that you named?" He asked.
"Withered roses" I said. He nodded and leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips.
"We have to wait 'til like 2 months to see if the record company will sign us. If we start going on tour, will you still be our guitar tech?" He asked with hope in his voice.
"Of course" This time I leaned in for the kiss.
We spent another hour talking, kissing, and cuddling. After that we spent the night laying next to each other on the hospital bed watching movies. I started getting sleepy. As soon as I was about to fall asleep he kissed my head and whispered "I love you Violet" "I love you too Jaybie" And with that I fell asleep into my wonderful dreams of wonderland.
SORRY IT'S REALLY SHORT BUT IM NOT WRITING THIS STUFF DOWN AND I WAS PISSED CUZ I WROTE THIS BEAUTIFUL CHAPTER AND IT WOULDNT SAVE SAYING IT WAS TOO SHORT AND IT DELETED AND I DONT REMEMBER WHAT I PUT SO YEAH. WHILE I START WRITING THIS ON PAPER IM GOING TO UPDATE ON THURSDAY MOST LIKEY. SORRY GUYS
