(q) what is the hanahaki disease?

(a) it's a fictional disease where someone has one-sided feelings for another person, they eventually cough or throw up flowers or petals of a flowering plant growing in their lungs and over time, if the love is still unrequited, the plant will grow and grow until it blocks the lungs, making the person unable to breath until they eventually die. however, this can be prevented if the person whom they claim to have one-sided feelings for, returns their feelings back or the person has to go through surgery in order to remove the plant, unfortunately, once they lose the plant, their feelings for that person will be lost too.

i've had a fascination about this fictional disease for a while now and i finally decide to write a story about it! i'm really excited about how this will turn out.
