🍃LOVE, HATE, ABUSE AND REVIVAL🍃

With Padma allowing him take them out, Jeremy was joyous. He went ahead and bought the tickets for the trip. He also rescheduled all his plans, so none of them falls on that day and even cancelled any appointment that'll obstruct his plans. For real, he was all set.

"But mom why did you accept it?" Vanessa asked Padma. It's been a few days after Jeremy came for that lunch but Vanessa hadn't stop bickering Padma for accepting Jeremy's offer.

"Now everytime he sees me, he's always trying to start a conversation." She complained which made Padma smile.

"That's the big idea. Starting a conversation." She said. "But mom." She cried. "I just accepted lunch and this trip, soon it'll be dinner and soon...."

"Why do you like worrying much?" Padma asked her. She bent and took Sekani's lunch bag from the floor. "You worry too much and I don't like it. You're to go have fun and not to go and worry kill yourself." Padma said.

A knock was heard on the door. "Someone's knocking. Let me go get it." Vanessa said to Padma as she left the kitchen counter.

Padma went along, but she didn't go to the door. She just went to where her grandson was playing with his shoelace and took it from him.

She picked the boy up and Vanessa opened the door. It was smiling Jeremy. She inwardly sighed.

"Good day ma'am. Vanessa, how're you doing?" He asked. She turned to Padma and gave her a mad look.

"Jeremy, come in." Padma said and he came inside. He was carrying two shopping bags in each hand.

"You didn't tell us you were coming over." Padma said to him. "Yes. I'd gone to the mall to get some stuffs, so decided to get some toys for Sekani." He said.

It was half truth though. He hadn't gone there to get anything except for the toys. He handed it to Vanessa. She turned to Padma and Padma nodded her to take it which she did.

"Thanks a lot." Vanessa and Padma said simultaneously. Jeremy smiled and turned to the little boy. "Sekani, how're you?" He asked the boy.

The boy struggled to come down from Padma's arm. She let him down and he went to where Vanessa was. "Mama shee." He cried.

Vanessa opened the bag and brought out a racing toy car and teddy bear. The other bag had a box of chocolate in it.

"Mama cocowate." The boy cried with excitement and Padma smiled.

Sekani refused to touch the teddy bear. He took the car and came to Padma. "Gan-gan voom voom." He said to her tugging at her legs.

"Yes, it's very nice. Say thank you to the nice gentleman who got it for you." Padma told the boy. He looked at Jeremy, stuck out his tongue at him and turned to Padma.

"Gan-gan voom voom." He said to her again. "Sekani be a good boy and say thanks to Jeremy." Vanessa said to the boy. He turned again and stuck out his tongue at both Vanessa and Jeremy then turned back to Padma.

"Gan-gan ant tu play. Gan-gan play. Gan-gan play." He cried in excitement.

"Jeremy thanks a lot for the gift. As you can see, Sekani loves it very much." Padma said. She looked at her grandson who was rolling the tyre of the car on her arms. "Sekani, let's go and play." She told the boy. "Pippy!" He yelled as Padma took him away.

Vanessa stood there and wished Jeremy would just leave without saying any word again.

"Lovely son you got there." He commented. She smiled. "Thanks." She said. "Thanks for the toys you got for him once again." She added.
