Chapter Eight

"WHERE IS THE REST OF IT?!!" I yelled to one of the young ones on my team as I held a gun up to his head.

"That's all of it I promise!" He screamed with the look of fear clear in his eyes.

I knew he was lying cause all of his drops been coming up short every time and I have cameras and watchers everywhere that seen him taking the money for hisself.

"What's the rule?" I ask through gritted teeth.

"Any man or woman caught stealing will instantly be put to death with a bullet between the eyes" he mumbled with sniffing.

"You knew this and you still decided to to steal from me like a dumbass."

I was about to pull the trigger when the sound of a gun went off and the boy's body slumped over. Carlie walked over and shrugged her shoulders and said "you were taking to long and I'm ready to go so I did it for you." And walked out the door.

I called the clean up crew, collected money, and checked my safes before walking out to meet Carlie in her car.

"Tf is wrong with you Carl's?" I asked with venom in my voice. I look over to see her looking straight with tears running down her face. "What's wrong C?" She didn't say anything, she just looked at me with so much sadness in her eyes when she finally spoke up "Rháe, I was two months pregnant, but I lost the baby yesterday morning. That's why I wasn't with you on our day off." I couldn't believe my ears. She was pregnant? "I'm so sorry for your loss C, if there's anything you need please don't hesitate to ask" I said while giving her a huge hug. "Thank you bestfriend" she sniffed. "Girl, no problem."

After getting back to Carlie's house I gave her another hug and left her alone like she requested. I knew she needed time to herself and I wasn't gonna tell her she couldn't have it. I was driving and in deep thought when my phone vibrated pulling me out of it.

"Hello?" I answered without looking to see who it was.

"Wassup ma" Manny deep raspy voice said.

"Nothing, just got done handling business. Wassup with you?"

"Shit chilling, just got done making a few drops. What you got planned for tonight?"

"Ehhh, nothing. Why?"

"Come over and chill"

"Alright, gimme a hour" I said and hung up.

Me and Manny have gotten so comfortable with each other it's crazy. To say he's 6 years older than me it doesn't really feel like it. I got home and did what I had to do then took a shower and grabbed my keys to my Wagon.

"Where you going at 9 o'clock at night little girl" my mom asked blocking the door.

"I'm going chill with a friend" I said while fixing my UGG boots.

"What friend?"

"Manny"

"You're going see a boy?" She asked raising a eyebrow.

"Yes ma."

"You're a little hoe aren't you?"

"Tf? Hell no."

"Yes you are, I can't believe I raised a hoe. You're not going out to see this little boy and that's final."

"One; I'm nowhere near a hoe! Two; ima go where ever I want to go. Three; if you think you raised a hoe, then that must mean I get my hoeness from you. Now move."

She moved without saying anything else and I was on my way to see Manny.

"Rháeeeeeeeeeee" he sang when he heard me walk in. Yes, I have a key to his house. Crazy right? But that's my fucking dawg.

"Manny-Wannyyyyyyyyy" i say the ugly nickname I gave him.

"Ugly ass nickname"

"Whatever, wassup?"

"Nothing, let's go upstairs tho I wanna lay down"

We walked up the stairs to his house and into his room. We got in bed and we snuggled up and he put his head on my chest and wrapped his arms around my waist while I played in his hair. The whole night we talked about pointless shit like always until he got up and just looked at me.

"What are you looking at little boy?"

He didn't reply instead he just kept looking from my eyes to my lips and I grew nervous. I never been kissed before and I knew that's what he was thinking. He slowly leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. They were so soft. I didn't know what I was doing, but our lips seem to move in sync somehow.

"Little girl you have some soft ass lips" he laugh.

"Whatever! What was that for?"

"Just wanted to show you that I was feeling you" he said then went back to his first position on my boobs. I was shocked to know he felt some type of way towards me. Can't believe I had my first kiss with him. After watching movies we finally decide to go to sleep. It was late and I didn't wanna drive so I slept at his house. He got up and repositioned hisself behind me and pulled me close to him. With his arms wrapped around my body and his head in the crook of my neck I fell asleep.
