Chapter Nine

**CARLIE IN MM**

It's been a whole week and I still haven't heard from Carl's so I decided to call her.

"Hey Rháe, I was just about to call and tell you to come outside since I just pulled up outside your house." She said soon as she answered.

"Alright, I'm coming"

I walked down the stairs and walk outside to sit in Carlie's car.

"Hey C, how you feeling?"

"I'm fine, but I know you're prolly wondering 'when the fuck did Carlie get pregnant, who was the baby for', and all that other stuff" she said while sighing.

"I can't even lie and say I wasn't. I thought so much on it. The news came out of nowhere. I was shocked, and if your willing to tell me everything I'm ready to hear it." I say.

"Well, our freshmen year of high school I met a dude name Shad that I didn't tell you about. We been together ever since and I truly love him. We started having sex around my junior year and just a few months ago we stopped using protection. No one knows about us, and I'm sorry for not telling you that I was in a relationship. But once we started having unprotected sex he started using that 'pull out' method and one day we were so deep into it that he didn't pull out. A few days after that I went to the doctors because of the morning sickness. I knew what it was, but I just wanted to make sure, and sure enough it was a little baby. I still kept this between me and him, I'm so little and I didn't start to show which is why I didn't have to tell. But one morning I woke up and was getting ready to come over here until I got this sharp ass pain in the pit of my stomach and once I seen the blood... I already knew that I had lost my precious little baby. It was the worst pain I ever felt in my life. Shad drove me to the hospital, they did a ultrasound and it confirmed what I was thinking. I couldn't do anything but cry. Shad took it hard too, ever since then he hasn't been the same and I can honestly say that I haven't either. Having a baby ripped away from you is no joke. In the car after I shot the little boy I cried because i know how his mother is gonna feel once she finds out he's dead. The loss of a child man, I just hope I have to never go through it again, which is why I can't continue killing off people in the gang and people who we are up against. I'm not saying I'm leaving, but I'm saying ima leave that killing shit up you. After all, your name is Killer."

By the time she got done talking, her and I were both in tears. I can't believe all this time this was going on with my bestfriend and I didn't know it. My heart really goes out to her and Shad and so does my prayers.

"Carlie... I'm so sorry. I honestly don't know what to say besides that. I'm here for you every step of the way and you don't ever have to be afraid to tell me something, you're my bestfriend and I'll go through hell and high waters for you girl." I said while giving her an assuring smile and a hug while rubbing her back.

"Thank you Rháe, for being here even after I kept a lot a big secrets from you."

"It's okay, I know you have your reasons Carl's."

After that we just chilled around my house all day and ate a bunch of junk food and talked. My heart really goes out to her, and this only pulled us closer together.
