Chapter 3

ALEX'S POV

'Just keep running, just run. If he follows you just run faster.' Those thoughts run through my head as I ran past everyone, people where staring but I just kept running. Down the streets, round corners and back to my apartment tears streaming down my face, my makeup ruined. I walked through the door and went back to my room. I locked the door and lay, sobbing silently into my pillow.
*knock* *knock*
"Hey it's Leila. Can I come in? I brought cookie dough ice cream and maltesers." She said with a sweet voice and unlocked my door and made my way to my piano. I started to write a few songs but they weren't perfect.
Leila joined me at the piano I played 'how long will I love you' on the piano with the lyrics flowing through my head. Leila stopped me from playing anymore and engulfed me in a hug.
"I know how hard it is for you. I'm here." She whispered in my ear and I nodded when we separated.
"I I s saw d Dan." I chocked. I couldn't stop crying and I rested my head on the piano, Leila started to look at the cuts on my arms. I stood up from the piano and shouted, "DOCTOR WHO TIME!!" Which frightened Leila and she fell to the ground. We laughed and we went to the lounge and turned on series 5 of Doctor Who. Before anyone starts I love series 5 and I know it's old but it never gets old for me!!
My eyes got heavier and I drift off.
I wake up with my pillow with makeup all over it under my head and a duvet over me. I turn my head to see Phil and Leila talking drinking tea.
"Hey Alex. You fell asleep to Doctor who which is rare. You feeling okay?" Leila said standing over me with a cup of tea in her hands in my favourite cup. It has the quote, 'sisters are for sharing laughter and wiping tears' which I loved because its like I have two sisters. One is sitting next to me and the other is looking down on me, I'm still sad that my real sister died in a car crash and it was two years ago.
Leila gave me the cup and I started to drink the tea.
"I'm fine. Just having a hard time. What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger" when I said that Phil and Leila looked at each other because they both new I cut.
"I heard you saw Dan." Phil said sitting opposite me as I nodded.
"He saw my cuts as well." I said sipping the tea. Next thing I know my phone goes off with High School Musical while Leila and Phil laugh. I pick up the phone and it was Lara.
"Hey Lara!! How are you?" I said happily.
"I'm good how are you?"
"I'm great!" I lied.
"I'm in London for a bit and I need somewhere to stay. Can I stay with you?"
"Sure!! How long?"
"For a few weeks."
"Fine with me. Text me when you are coming and I'll get everything ready."
"Okay bye!!" Lara shouted down the phone and hung up.
"Was that Lara?" Leila asked and I nodded.
I got a text message,
Lara: I'm coming in a few days.
Me: I'll get everything ready then you can come earlier.
Lara: kk see you soon.

I got the spare room sorted and Lara came the next few days.
There was a knock at the door and I was wearing my WildCats top and a red skirt with red flats as it was nice out. As I opened the door I was in a hug.
"HEY!!!!" Lara shouted down my ear.
"HEY!!!!" I shouted back, we parted from the hug and we jumped up and down for a minute and Phil came into the hallway. HUGE MISTAKE!! Lara squealed and jumped around while I was laughing at Phil's scared face.
"OH MY DAMON!! IT'S PHIL!!" She shouted. Before you ask she loves The Vampire Diaries and loves Damon one of the characters. That's why she says 'oh my Damon'.
I grabbed her bag and went to the spare room with it.
"Let's go for bubble tea." I said and Lara looked confused but she nodded.
I grabbed my coat and we went for bubble tea.

Once we got there I ordered Lara a caramel bubble tea and I got a green tea. We sat down and I pulled my phone out.
"Hey Munchkins. I'm with my bestie Lara and we have just got bubble tea. This is the first time Lara has tried the caramel bubble tea." I turned my phone to her and she tried it. She pulled a face then tried it again. "Oh my Damon I love it!!" The caramel one to me tasted like coffee, I'm not a big fan.
I put my phone away and Lara froze. I followed her gaze and I saw a man. Had brown hair, wore black leather jacket and black skinny jeans. Then I realised it was Dan and I ran pulling Lara's arm.
"What's wrong? Isn't that Dan? You wanted to see him again." She said looking at Dan in the bubble tea queue.
"Yes but he knows about the cuts." I whispered and he looked round and once he saw me he looked away and didn't look round again. Why was he like that? Was it because of my cuts? We walked back to the apartment and as we walked into the lounge we found Leila and Phil kissing. KISSING?!?! I like them as a couple but I just not in the mood for romances.

I sat across from them and they pulled apart. Lara was 'awww'ing and I just sat there drinking my bubble tea. I walked to the DVD collection I had and as I was wearing a WildCats top I put on High School Musical and I sang to all the songs. I LOVE HSM!! I mean sooooooo much.

Lara decided to go to bed after all the High School Musical DVDs, I went to my and played piano and went to bed.
