Mark's POV

We made it back to Auradon and we're standing the in middle of a field in front of the school. "I'll get these back to the gym" Haechan gestured to the swords. "Thanks" Jaehyun said and Haechan walked off.

Then I saw Doyoung walk up to us. "Johnny there you Cotillion's tonight come here" They bent down to look at his tablet and whispered some stuff.

I just walked away and let them tall about what they needed. Taeyong grabbed my arm and said. "We need to talk" I just nodded. Me and him stated walking away until Their stopped us.

"No" He said. "No?" Tae said back. "You guys are always going off by yourselves doing boy talk and me and Jaehyun are tired of it" Taeil started off.

"I'm not" Jaehyun put is hands up I'm defense. Taeil just gave him a look. 'We're your family too we've been through a lot together and I'm not stopping that now okay" He finished.

All I did was nod again. We all sat down on the ground. "I don't know how to start this" Taeil said. He then looked at Jaehyun. "What up" Is all he said.

The rest just lightly laughed at him. Um well...... I'm a mess I'm such a mess I mean 6 months ago I was you know stealing candy from babies and now now everyone want me to be this Man of the Court and I have no idea how to keep up the act" I said to them.

"Then don't" Taeil told me. "See this was dumb" Jaehyun was about to stand up. "Maybe it wasnt" That made him sit back down.

"We're always going to be the kids from the Isle I tried to forget it I really tried but those are our roots and we all did what we had to do to survive but it made us who we are and we're never gonna be like everyone else here and that's okay" Tae finished his little speech.

"And we can't fake it" Taeil added on. Tae just shook his head. "Yeah I mean especially without my spell book" I said. "Well if Johnny doesn't love the real you then he's not the one" Taeil told me.

"Give him a chance Mark" Taeil said. Tae changed the topic and told me. "I'm gonna make some changes to your suit and I'd you're up for it, only if you're up for it it'll be waiting for you okay" I nodded then he hugged me.

All 3 of then got up and walked away and I just stayed there. I was Jaehyun come back and sit in front of me. "Come to cotillion tonight all right if Johnny isn't smart enough to love you and you can't stand another day I'll drive you back tomorrow myself" He said to me then got up and walked away again.

Taeil's POV

I was walking back to the school. "Boy talk crushed it" I just kinda laughed at Dude. "Yeah except when it comes to asking Doyoung out then I'm a total chicken" I said. "I'm gonna paraphrase one of the bravest boys I know"

Dude said and I bent down to hear him out. "If he doesn't like you then he's not the one for you" He said and I pet him. "You really are a man's best friend" We then walked the rest of the way to the school.

Jaehyun's POV

I'm a fencing practice with the boys. "Let's bring it I'm boys" We all got into a circle. "You all know I come from the Isle right things are pretty wack but there's one thing the Isle's got on Auradon if you're strong we want you on our side scrawny or buff"

"Hey Jaehyun hold on here we don't uh where are you getting at here" Winwin said.
"Giving you a new team captain come in" Haechan then came into the room. "Wait what" Winwin said confused and I gave Haechan the whistle.

He blew the whistle and said. "Give me 10 come one guys" We all got into pushup position and he walked over to Winwin and put is foot on his back. We started and he pushed on his back. "Pick it up Winwin"

He looked at me. "Nice form Jaehyun" We finished doing pushup and got up. "That's it for practice today got out of here go get ready for Cotillion" Haechan said.
