Mark's POV

I'm on a picnic date with Johnny by the lake. "Would you like a hot hors d'oeuvre " He nodded and I fed it to him. "Mmm this is the best thing I've ever had" He said. "So you like it" I asked him.

"I more then like it" He reached over and ate another one. "I double like it" I just laughed a little. "Is this beef ragout" I nodded. He then ate some of that.

"This is amazing" He said. "Did I surprise you"."Oh yeah you surprised me this is every single dish Mrs. Potts made for my parents what'd it take you 3 days" He asked me.

"You know don't even ask me" It was silent for a but before Johnny said. "Well it means a lot that you stopped and did all this for me especially with all the craziness you be been put through I missed you" I smiled.

He then softly caressed my cheek. "We don't get much time to be just us anymore" He said. "I know" I whipped a crumb off the corner of his mouth and we both just laughed. "Guess you can't take me anywhere" He said.

"Do you have like a napkin" He asked. "I do they're right here I think I showed them away I can grab them" He was reaching in the basket and grabbed my spell book.

"What's this" He asked. "I actually threw that in there super last minute in case it rained or" I cut off by him. "Speed reading spell, Blonde hair spell, Cooking spell" He slammed my book shut. "And I was giving you props for fitting in so well for doing so well" He raised his voice.

"Take back this moment that has passed return it... Reverse it" I tried to say. "Are you trying to spell me right now" He stood up. "Johnny it has been so hard for me"."Yeah some things are hard" He yelled.

"Do you think learning to be king has been easy for me" He said. "No" I answered. "I thought we were doing this together" Then I stood up too. "Johnny we are in this together"

"But we're not Mark we're not you've been keeping secrets and lying to me I thought we were done with that this isn't the Isle of Lost Mark" He said. It was silent for a second before I said. "Yeah believe me I know that"

"Then why are doing this" He asked. "Because I'm not one of those sophisticated princes Johnny I'm not one of those men from the court I'm a big fake okay. I'm fake this is fake" I grabbed my book and filled through the pages.

"Take this feast this sumptuous meal return it back to what is real" Then the food turned into a small sandwich and a glass of water. "This is who I really am" I then started walking off. "Mark" I cut him off. "No" I just kept walking.

"Peanut butter and jelly is my favorite" I heard him yell. I ran all the way back to my dorm. I put on my outfit that I kept and took a small box and punched some holes at the top.

While I was doing that I started crying. "I don't belong here" I said. I went over to the cage where I kept my mom. I opened the lid grabbed her and put her in the little box. "Let's blow this popsicle stand"

I took the bike that Johnny gave me and rode to the edge of Auradon. I grabbed my book again. "Noble steed proud and fair you shall take me anywhere"

I drove on top of the water all the to the Isle. When I got there I parked it and got off of it. "I'm home"
