“Right on time, I’ve been wanting to end our date with a little dancing.”
I chuckled to myself. “Can’t wait to get out onto that dance floor.”
Some of the couples who have already finished their meals before us got up to dance, until our waitress came back with the check.
“Here is your bill, and your welcome to dance to our small orchestra to end your wonderful evening.”
Tamaki quickly read over the check, then whipped out his wallet to get his credit card, and gave it to the waitress who walked over to her cash register.
“Ready to dance.” Tamaki said, as he got up from his seat, walked over and reached out his right hand elegantly.
“Yes.” I replied with a sly grin on my face, taking his hand, and standing up from my seat.
The waitress returned with the receipt.
“Here is your receipt, and have a wonderful evening.”
Tamaki slid the receipt into his inner top pocket, and rehelded my hand. He guided me to the wooden dance floor, then gently took my left hand into his.
“Now, the first thing in learning how to dance properly, is letting your strong dancing partner take the lead. So that way, if you have any weakness, I can help guide you.”
I took a ‘lets do this’ breath and waited for his first movement.
“Okay, I’ll make sure that I don’t stumble too much.”
“Then let’s us begin... with your first dancing lesson.”
Tamaki puts my right hand on top of his neck than pulling my body closer to him, making me softly shrieking with a hint of blush.
‘There is definitely no way that Kyoya could top this.’ I thought to myself. ‘I am in total bliss when I am with Tamaki. No, don’t ever think about going all yandere-esk, you are a normal girl. Let your feelings for him be natural.’
Tamaki clasped his left hand with mine then gracefully start to move.
“Follow my lead.”
I kept in that pose as he lead me across the dance floor, following his every step, which he switches up between the waltz and twirling motions. And for the first time ever, I was actually dancing with grace.
‘I did it! I really did it!’ I thought with excitement.
My heart began to pound as our movements synced to the beat of the music.
“Keep your eyes directly at me and also keep your shoulders relaxed. Let your feet move opposite to mine.” I let my shoulders relaxed and kept my gaze on Tamaki. “There, you’ve got it.”
Tamaki was soo handsome to look at, I couldn’t think about anything else, but being there in that romantic moment. Until he twirled me for the last round, ending the lesson. Afterward, we both did our respectful bows gracefully to each other. I really didn’t want our dance to end, but sadly it had to. I let out a tired yawn signaling that it was time to leave.
“Let’s get you home.” Tamaki sweetly responded.
I nodded in a sleepy expression as Tamaki and I began to leave the restaurant. The minute we walked outside, his limo driver emerged, walking over to open the back passenger door for us.
“Looks like your date had quite the night. She’s practically falling asleep.”
“Seems that way. Being the popular person, isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. But… I do give her the shadow of a doubt that she will make someone very happy. Whomever it may be.”
