JOHNNY'S POV
Today at school I have a physics class to teach at 11 and then another at 2 as it's Wednesday and double science day. In fact, my 11 o'clock class is about to start ;)
As the bell rang I held the door open so that my students could walk through. I've realized that Kenzie and her group usually walk in last so I can smile at her without other students seeing.
But Kenzie didn't walk in. It was just Dylan and Carson? Where was she?
After a few minutes I started attendance. When I got to Kenzies name I asked if anyone knew where she was
"Dylan? Carson?"
"Uhm I think she's in the bathroom or something?" Dylan responded
I just nodded and carried on. A little later into the lesson I got a supply teacher to cover for a minute while I went to the bathroom...well look for Kenzie. I was worried alright?!
I was walking down the halls when I could see two shadows coming from the library. When I got closer I could see it was Kenzie and this guy arguing. Who was he?!
"Ashton leave me alone! I dumped you for a reason"
Ashton???? OH he's the disgusting ex she dumped a week before summer. I was about to go in and sort it out when Kenzie started making her way to the door too. I quickly hid round the corner so she wouldn't see me
"Mr Orlando?" A voice said from behind me making me jump
"Uhm yeah?"
"I'm Mr Summerall. Hayden Summerall. Call me Hayden" this guy said holding his hand out for me to shake
I shook his hand and then stood up taller
"So what are you doing out here Mr Orlando?" Hayden asked me
"Oh call me Johnny and just..uh going to the bathroom" I nodded smiling
"Yeahhhh the bathrooms over on the other side of the hallway. Just admit it Johnny, you were looking at Miss Ziegler" Hayden laughed
"Uhm I'm sorry what?" I chuckled nervously
"Hey it's okay! She might be quiet but that doesn't mean she's bad on the eyes" he laughed again
"Just admit it. I know you were looking"
"Yeah I guess I was just seeing what she was doing since she wasn't in class-"
"Johnny! I told you bro it's okay. I'd do her if I could" he shrugged
Yeah he shouldn't be saying that
"Well sure she's not ugly" I said
"Alright well I'll see you later bro. I'm in PE by the way" he called before turning away
"PHYSICS" I called back laughing
"Johnny?"
I turned around quickly, my smile fading
"Kenz! Hey"
"What are you doing here?" She huffed
"What are you doing here?! Your meant to be in class" I rolled my eyes
She didn't respond
"Kenzie?" I sheepishly said
"I got into an argument with Ashton over something stupid" she sighed
"What was it?" I asked putting my hands on her arms
She quickly slid out from my grip
"Anyone can see Johnny" she whispered
"I don't care" I shrugged, holding her again
"...he thinks there's something going on between Isaak and me"
"Presley?" I asked
"Yeah Isaak Presley"
"Why would he think that?" I questioned her
"...because Isaak been trying to get me to chose him for science fair partners" she rolled her eyes
"Look don't let him get to you! And leave the whole partner thing up to me yeah?" I tried to reassure her
"Okay" she mumbled
"Good now come on we both have a class to get to" I joked making her chuckle a little
As she walked off I grabbed her wrist and swung her back towards me. I caught her by her waist and looked down to her face
"Smooth" she joked, her hands placed on my chest
"Why thank you" I whispered
I started leaning in to her lips when she pulled her head back
"Where in the middle of the hall someo-" she raised one eyebrow
"I know someone can see, fun right?" I gently placed my lips on hers. Her arms snaked around my neck and pulled me down to her
We pulled apart and she walked off
We waited 5 minutes between me arriving back and her returning so it didn't look suspicious
When Kenzie sat down I didn't say anything I just slightly smiled
Soon my lesson ended and everyone left.
The older kids now had PE so I thought it was a good time to go see Hayden since he could be a good friend to make
When i walked down there, the student were already out on the field, running laps to warm up
My eyes scanned them until I stopped on her. She was wearing a tight cheerleading top and skirt and was adjusting her self to stand on top of the double pyramid with Dylan
I was so focused that I didn't hear Hayden call
"MR ORLANDO"
I sharply turned around "hm? Sorry"
Hayden chuckled
"Staring?" He whispered pointing to the cheerleaders
"No! Just admiring how they can manage to stay up in a pyramid" I shrugged
"Yeah okay. So how comes your down here?" He asked me
"Oh just wanted to talk. Thought we could be friends you seem my age" I suggested
"Yeah that's cool! Oh! My friends are having this party on the weekend you should totally come...there will be hot chicks!" He whispered the last part
"Uh err um-"
"Should you be talking about 'hot chicks' during the lesson sir?" A voice said
I span around to see Dylan with her hands on her hips and Kenzie stood next to her
"What's wrong Dylan" Hayden rolled his eyes
"Kenz and I wanted to use the bathroom but we seemed to have interupted a meaningful conversation" she joked
"Just go" Hayden huffed
They sprinted off back to the changing rooms
"Sooooo? My offer?" Hayden quickly said again
"Nah sorry bro rain check?"
"Yeah sure! But your missing outtttt" he sighed chuckling to himself
(A.N) I know this chapter sucked but I kinda needed to sort out Johnny and Hayden becoming friends and I can't really have cute jenzie moments every chapter haha :(( thank you for 100 reads❤️
