(Y/n)'s POV

A week has passed since the incident and all was well. Yoshiko now escorts me to school and back home. I feel safer to say the least....I know I was annoyed about it before but I actually like this.

Thing is...ever since I was kidnapped my mental health has been low. Everytime I close my eyes I get scared....like I don't know when I'm going to be hurt again. But when I open my eyes, I can see. And I'm okay. I haven't told anyone about this yet...I just feel like I shouldn't.

And since my dad has left for his business trip my mom has been a little down too. He didn't even tell us when he had to leave. Which was low.

God...Katashi made my anxiety worse...and my depression...fuck him! It was bad to start off with. My mom doesn't even know that I struggle with myself. I don't want to tell her so she doesn't feel bad.

My anxiety always makes me worry and afraid to do things in fear people are judging me...but I'm becoming a pro hero and I need to get over it...

I haven't been getting much sleep during the night, being traumatized and all. So I've been sleeping in class. I feel safe. I can hear chatter from my classmates and I know pro hero's are around.

Sure my older sister is a pro hero but it's different...

"(Y/n)-chaaan~" I heard Ochaco call out to me. I shifted in my seat In response. "(Y/n)-chan?" Tsu also called.

I felt light tapping on my shoulder. I shot my eyes open and sat up in a flash. My breathing hitched and I looked around panicked. "W-woah, (y/n)-chan you're okay! Everything is okay!" Ochaco said.

"It's just us, your friends." Tsu said concerned. I looked at them and started to calm down. "Are you okay?" Ochaco asked. I took in deep breathes and let out a shaky "Yes". Good thing it's the end of the day.

Aizawa must've heard the commotion because he came over to my desk. "Is everything alright here?" He raised an eyebrow. "Yes! Of course it is, why wouldn't it be?" I smiled.

Tsu and Ochaco looked at each other. "Hm. Okay...can I speak with you?" Aizawa asked. "I nodded. "Will you girls be willing to wait outside of the classroom for (L/n)?"

They both nodded. "We'll be outside then." Tsu said and they both left. Everyone in the class had left and it was just me and Aizawa.

"Hey, be honest with me. Is everything alright? Are you feeling okay?" Aizawa leaned on the desk beside me. I smiled "of course!" No. "Are you sure? Because lately you've been down...I mean considering what you've been through it's kinda expected."

"I'm fine. It's nothing I can't handle!" I couldn't handle it. Aizawa inspected my features for any give aways that I was lying but found none. Or maybe he did but didn't want to push.

"Well, either way...I think I still need to cheer you up. So do you want to go to a fireworks festival tomorrow?" Were my ears deceiving me? Did my teacher just ask me on a date?!

"Yes!" I said a little too enthusiastically. I cleared my throat. "I mean...yeah sure." Aizawa chuckled. "Alright, I'll pick you up tomorrow after school at 6pm?"

"Sure. I'll tell my mom." I smiled. "Okay, don't forget." "I won't. See you tomorrow, aizawa!" I quickly hugged him and walked away.

Ochaco, Tsu and I walked to the train station accompanied by my sister and I told them about my plans with Aizawa. They were shocked and happy for me.

They asked to go with me but I told them no. I can't let them ruin this date for me. No offence to them. Okay maybe it's not a date to Aizawa but to me it is.

~the next day~

I just got home and it's 4:48pm. I have 2-ish hours until Aizawa picks me up. I decided to sit around on my phone until it was 5. I started getting ready. I put on a light pink shirt that had a little Sakura flower on the left side of the chest, some black high rise jean shorts, a black choker, and some light pink shoes.

I put on some light makeup and put up my hair into a bun and left my bangs out. I got my small pink purse and slipped my phone in it. By then it was 5:40pm. I made my way downstairs and waited in the living room.

"Holy shit, sis. You look so cute!" Yoshiko complimented and sat down beside me. "Heh thanks!"
"Woahh, what's the occasion?" My little sister, Rin asked as she walked into the living with some mango mochi.

"I'm going to the fireworks festival." I took a mochi off the plate. "Really? Damn...aren't we going too?" Rin turned to Yoshiko. "I think so. Hey mom? Are we also going to the fireworks festival?" Yoshiko called.

"Yes, actually! Are you girls ready?" My mom walked in. Yoshiko and Rin looked at each other and dashed to their rooms upstairs. "I'm ready." I smiled.

"(Y/n), you look so beautiful!" My mom came over to me and sat down down on the couch. "Thanks mom."

"Just remember to be really careful when you're out, okay? I know Aizawa is with you but it won't hurt to keep an eye out." "Yes mom. I promise you I'll be fine. Aizawa's got my back." I said confidently.

My mom nodded and hugged me. And about 5 minutes later my sisters came downstairs looking great. We all went outside and as my mom and sisters were about to get into our car, Aizawa pulled up.

He got out of his car and approached us. "Hello Mrs.(L/n), hey (L/n)." Aizawa greeted me and my mom. "Well hello, Aizawa. How are you?" My mom asked.

"I'm fine, you?" "I'm great! Thanks for asking." I stood there admiring Aizawa. He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt and some sweats. I never seen him out of this hero uniform. He looked really good.

"Are you going to the fireworks too? If so I can drive you." Aizawa offered. "Oh my. Yes we are. But that's okay! I don't want to be a burden." My mom laughed.

"You won't be a burden. I insist. Let me drive you." My mom gave in and we ended up piling into Aizawa's sleek black car. My mom sat in the front and me and my sisters sat in the back. I fought Rin for a window seat.

On the way to the park, I would catch Aizawa looking at me through the rear view mirror. And when I catch him we would both look away.

I kept my gaze through the side window until we arrived at the park, when there my mom and sisters went there own way and me and Aizawa were left alone. Standing by each other, awkwardly.
