In the Frozen Rain

Chapter 3 - The Storm

   We moved to planet Jejune in a city called Wolfsberg across the street from the Cortez's. I didn't want to leave Zack but I had no choice. 

After my mother knew how i went missing she decided to ground me the entire summer. I mostly stayed in my room for the entire summer. I shared a room with my older sister Claudia. So now we have two guest rooms. I felt bad for my sister. She says she doesn't mind but I doubt that. Sigh today I start school.

"Sweetheart it's time to wake up you're going to be late for school." 

"Okay I'm coming." 

Then my dad closed the door. I got up and brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and put it in a ponytail. I put on my new dress that looks like a hoodie, the one with all the pretty orange orchids on it and my orange socks and went downstairs.

I almost passed Talon. 

"Hey do you have shorts under there?" 

"...Noo"

He looked at me with a disapproving look and pointed upstairs. I groaned and went back upstairs and put on my black shorts. At least they don't show from under the dress. I went back downstairs and showed my brother that I had shorts. 

We ate  and went outside. I haven't seen Cortez's family since I was smaller and I didn't say hi when we moved in. One thing for sure the whole family is huge and not just the family. 

"Howling Hey I haven't seen you in forever." Wolfarina smiled. 

I smiled and waved at her back. She was a lot bigger than the last time I saw her. 

She walked up to me "How have you been doing so far?" 

"I'm doing great." 

"What's wrong?" she asked

"Nothing really...I just miss someone I met on a trip." 

"Oh who is it? I have a friend who lives there, maybe she knows them." 

"Hey what you talking about" Wolf laughed

"It's none of your business asshole." She spat

"I wasn't asking you dick head." 

"Why do you have to always be a nosy fucker." 

"Okay bitch calm down don't get your panties in a twist." he laughed

I guess Wolf and Wolfarina fighting hasn't changed. They basically never cuss at people but once it's each other it's war. 

"Can you guys not cuss in front of me please" 

"Oh sorry" 

"She started it, all I asked was a question." 

 I was looking at Wolf and his sister. He was bigger by at least an inch or two possibly more. 

"Well?" he nagged

"Oh sorry we were talking about I made a friend on a trip and now I miss them."

 "Oh Wolfarina did you ask Zoey..." 

"Wait what did you just say!" I blurted

"Wolfarina has a friend who lives in Antarctica named Zoey." 

"That's his sister Zoey um..." 

I started snapping my fingers. I was trying to remember her last name. 

"Frost?" 

"Yes!" 

I didn't realize I was squealing and jumping around until I saw everyone's confused faces.
