I never liked surprises. There were so many possibilities, so many thinkable endings. What if it wasn't the ending I wanted? See with music you can always hear which note is meant to come next, and it is always the right ending.

In this moment my heart is racing, his hand covers mine and I'm being lead to who knows where. "Just a little further," Sebastian says. It's making it worse that I have tripped over a few tree roots and rocks, even with him supposedly protecting me. "Here," He takes the blindfold off and I suck in a breath. "It's beautiful," I finally say looking at the picnic set out under the trees. "I know you don't like those cliché picnics under the stars. So a picnic under the blinding sun it is." He smiles at me. I sit down on the picnic mat and gaze up at the birds.

Birds they don't make music to live, they live for music.

We sit down on the checkered picnic blanket, covered in catered food and drink. "So you like it?" He questions.
"Of course it's wonderful, but why?" I feel the heat of the sun streaming down on me.
"Can't a guy do something for his girl without an intention other than to make her happy," He says poetically. I grin and look up at him leaning closer so that I can smell his cologne, "Thank you."
"You're welcome," He closes the gap and our lips meet, and for a moment I am in bliss. This right here and now, is who I fell in love with.

"Strawberry?" he asks, as he pulls away. I take it from his hand and glance at it, the crafted strawberry is in the shape of a rose. It would be cute if he had done it himself, but he didn't. "This is beautiful," I say taking a bite and savouring the thought that, even if it doesn't look like a strawberry, it still tastes like one. He takes my hand, and kisses my cheek. "Close your eyes," He orders, and I do as I'm told. I hear shuffling and rearranging, and then a single word before the next moment, like the quiet before the storm. Instruments. Music. Voices. No, one voice. "Will you marry me, Blair?" The sight is blinding. Glamour. Sparkles. And Sebastian on his knee, holding a small box out in front of him. I'm lost for words until I finally manage to utter out one word. "Yes,"
