I was silent on our way home. I would just nod my head whenever he asked something. Siguro ay napansin niya iyon at panay ang hinga niya ng malalalim.
Pagkatapos nila mag perform ay inaya ko na agad siya pauwi. Nang malapit na kami sa Village ay hininto niya muna ang kotse sa gilid.
He sighed massively and took his seatbelt off.
"Do we have any problem, baby?"
I lowered my head, my heart tightened in pain. Parang pinipiga sa sakit ang puso ko sa tuwing naaalala ko ang ginawa ni Lily kanina. It feels like she's telling me I should backed off.
Inangat ko ang tingin sa kanya at marahang umiling.
"Wala Zach, maybe I'm just tired."
He softly stared at me and licked his lips. Puno ng pagtataka ang mata niya habang nakatitig sa akin. Maybe somehow he felt I'm not on the mood to talk kaya hindi niya na ako kinulit pa.
I immediately got off the car when he stopped in front of our mansion. Narinig ko ang kalabog ng kotse kaya alam kong lumabas siya.
"Aya," he called.
Pumikit ako ng mariin at hindi nag abalang lumingon sa kanya. "Papasok na ako, Zach. Bukas na tayo mag usap."
He went silent for a moment before I heard his footsteps towards me. Nang huminto siya sa harap ko ay mas lalo akong tumango.
"Aya, look at me."
I shook my head. "Just go home, I'm tired."
"I'm tired too, but I can't let this night passed without knowing what's the problem. Don't bother telling me we don't because I can feel it. There's something bothering you, baby," he softly said.
My eyes swelled with tears, pasikip ng pasikip din ang dibdib ko. Is this the pain my father was talking about? Kase sobrang masakit talaga.
He swiftly lifted my face and the tears forming on the corner of my eyes escaped. Worried clouded his face and he immediately wiped my tears away.
His warm hands cupped my face and stared at me.
"Why are you crying, lady? Fuck! Did something happened? May nang away ba sayo?"
Diretso akong tumingin sa mga mata niya. "Zach, can I ask a question?"
Sunod sunod siyang tumango at mas lalo pa akong inilapit sa kanya.
"What do you think of Lily?" I asked.
His lips parted and blinked a few times, he looked so shocked with my question. Ilang saglit pa ay, nilipat niya ang mga kamay sa bewang ko.
"Why did you asked? Hmm, are you jealous?"
"Just please answer my question, Zach----"
"She's just a friend," he cut me off.
Sumimangot ako sa kanya. She's just a friend whose head over heels with you!
"She likes you," I uttered.
His forehead creased. "What?"
"She likes you!" I exclaimed.
"So what? I don't care about her okay? You're the one I love," he whispered and brushed my hair with his hands.
"Am I distraction to you?"
His expression hardened. "Siya ba nagsabi niyan sayo?"
Napakurap ako. "H-Ha? A-ano.."
