Mari pov

I finished on the phone after talking to Kagami's mother. I walk back to where I left Adrien. Cujo following me everywhere I went.
"Mom. Where's Adrien?" I ask my mother who was in the other room.
"I think your dad's talking to him" She responded. My eyes widen and I moved around the house quickly searching all the room in search for them. I finally found them in my room. Dad sat on my desk chair inforntbof Adrien who was sat on my chaise rather uncomfortablely. I gently knock on the door frame. They turned to face me. Dad smiled sweetly and Adrien looked relieved that I was there.
"Whats going on?" I ask in a sing song voice. Making my way into my room. I sat next Adrien. Much to dad's dismay.
"Nothing sweetie. Just getting to know your friend" Dad replied. I crossed my leg. Throwing my right leg on top of my left. I lean back looking at my dad.
"So. Adrien. You alright?" I ask, noticing that he was being really quiet.
He opened his mouth to speak but dad gave him a look and he closed it. He nodded a 'yes'. I rolled my eyes discreetly.
"Right" I mutter.
"Lucifrt love. Can you come here please!" Mom shouted from down stairs.
"Coming Honey" Dad shouted back. Smiling at us he left to help mom.

"What did he tell you?" I ask Adrien
He slowly turned to look at me. That's when I noticed how sad he looked.

"Adrien. What's wrong?" I ask him. Placing a hand on his cheek.
"He told me?" He muttered.
"Told you what?" I ask. He looked at me. His eyes red a puffy as he had cried.
"About Bruce. And what he did" He replied. My heart dropped.
